How do I get a fitness reset going in a relationship? I'm with a good girl but ive let myself go hard and I dont know why but its harder than its ever been to get back into shape, and she's not fat or anything herself but has like, absolutely zero interest in anything gym or diet related, so she gets in the way of me achieving those goals.
For instance, she expects me to go the gym on a specific routine, no harm in that, so she knows when we'll sit on the couch and cuddle or whatever, but honestly sometimes I don't feel like going to the gym in the morning, at lunch, or right after, sometimes I feel like going at 8pm which is when she expects to be cuddling after dinner, and anytime I make that change she rolls her eyes and gets a crappy attitude, but if stuck to an autistic specific schedule, id only end up going 3 times a week instead of the 5-6 that I want to go
Additionally, ive gotten fat and need to lose weight, and she thinks im such a fag for caring about macros or doing fasting or whatever; she doesn't call me a fag, but if I say "yeah I feel like fasting today, my will power is high" she'll roll her eyes and get moody for the rest of the day because we wont eat dinner together or whatever. She's not clingy, she's not trying to sabotage me, she just doesn't give a shit about the struggles of fitness, and I never struggled like this with my physique when I was single.
Anyone on /fit/ deal with this? How did you fix it? And jannies please dont delete or move this thread man, this is a very /fit/ question that I wanna know how my bros keep up a good physique in a relationship
