Only woodchops would actually involve the serratus anterior here

Dips and pushups with lockout the scapula

or super strict abs in general like crunchs vs hip flexor situps

i just beef them with whatever presses done strict after normal high weight, you put the weight on it more isometrically and push through with your core almost. its like a heavier version of stiff arm pushdowns flies etc where you can really contract your upper body to be in front of or rotate based on a certain part of th movement.

mine arent sick yet im not quite built like a Y yet but it definitely made a noticeable difference flexing and in my ability to press and reach pec/delt failure before form collapses.

Dips have done wonders for my chest but my lats aren't feeling it the same as when I started, is there like a lean position I'm not doing? Like leaning too far forward?

My serratus anterior grew a lot just from doing bench press where I extend my arms forward after locking out. Just really trying to maximize the ROM the same way that calisthenicsbros do push-ups. I think this works better with a lighter weight.

It does. Just make sure you're not cheating the motion; pretend like it's a pullover.

How retarded are you all? You don't even know what muscle that is... it's serratus. It has nothing to do with abs. It's not trained with any ecercise for lats.
Please, never post on /fit ever again. Never post any advice at all.

Tbis thread is about serratus not lats. If you want lats do rows and pullups.

whats your routine anon and how does the serratus function if not to stabilize presses, maybe to stabilize your ribs and chest forward?
Anonymous No.76272435 [Report]
>>76271207 (OP)
I have prominent serrati and I just do the basic compounds (squat, bench, OHP, deadlift, row, pullups). I think the main contributor is OHP, and I can do lmao2plate
