How do I get big shoulders like this? I know he's not natty but is just roids? Those things are near as big as his pecs! What exercises should I do to get similar shape/look, even if as a natty I can't be that size?

"Shape/look" are determined by genetics, muscle insertions, bones, proportions etc

Just look up the best exercises for each delt and do them with progressive overload, just like any other muscle.

Regardless of genes, everyone will look infinitely better trained vs untrained. You can't accidently have awesome shoulders. You have to work them correctly and keep all 3 delt heads proportional with each other so you don't look weird.

my side delts grew when i started ego lifting on lat raises. for me its 35's-40's and spamming/dropsetting until i couldnt so much as lift a toothbrush laterally. really could say this about basically every muscle group desu just go harder, heavier and further

yeah volume is king, with every muscle. work as hard and as long as you can, and pound down the food & protein shakes. It's not complex, just really challenging. More mentally than physically I'd argue.

the real hard part is after deciding to lift like that, the eternal struggle between wanting to power lift, volumemaxx, athletic-style force/power training. just tell yourself you can do the other styles of training after you hit a goal physique. My compound lifts have not gone up in quite some time with this approach, but boy has my body grown.

Can I do lateral raises and rear delt flyes one after the other? like finish a set of lateral raises then bend over a bit and do the rear flyes straight away?

You have a lot of androgen receptors in your shoulders. They blow up as they are receiving as there is more shit giving out instructions to build muscle.

It doesnt matter because you'll never put in the work. If you really wanted it, you'd already be lifting and not worried about some arbitrary timeline.
If someone does tell you a timeframe you find acceptable, you'll go the gym then quit in a few months when you see no progress and then go back to making "how to achieve" threads with a pic of Gooky the anime character waiting for someone to "redpill" you on how to get jacked without doing anything. loser

If you have access to a real pool, learn to swim long distance.

Your shoulders will become boulders and then you also get the added benefit of effortless perfect posture.

Decent freestyle form takes maybe a few weeks to get down as second nature.

Well you need to seriously train shoulders for a start. Doing a few half arsed sets of lateral raises at the end of your workout when you're already fatigued, as most people do for shoulders, just won't cut it

Probably 135 1 rep max too, and even then likely not even a full rep lol. If you can't do 135 for 10 you're shoulders are gonna look shit by default

It's same as the niggers with 200lbs max squat saying compounds are bad and you only get big on machines, yet they're not even big

OHP*, whoops
>>76275817
my shoulders exploded once I started seriously focusing on OHP and lifting heavier. I'm approaching a 185 for 3x3 and usually finish with back off sets of 135 for 3x10 as well as push press and press starts in between, fantastic exercise for growing delts

Based. It's crazy how adding what seems like a baby amount of weight can make it feel like 5 times heavier though isn't it? Don't know burger units but I'm making at 80kg now. I legitimately found adding 2.5kg to OHP harder than adding 10kg to bench

Dumbbell flyes
Upright rows
Shrugs
Front rows
Overhead press

Not necessarily in that order but those are good lifts to start your journey to boulder shoulders

like other anons have said spam lateral raises, i start when 20s and run down the rack til i get to 10s then you can just do the bottom portion for burn

don't neglect rear delts, you'll hit em on back day but i like doing facepulls above the head and reverse flys

front delts should take care of themselves if you do enough incline benching

What's the best approach on maxxing out OHP?
Less reps and more intensity or more reps with less intesity?
I can currently do 5x48kg with decent form, but that's it. Should I focus on doing like 35kg x 12?
