my average day back when I was a 17yo highschooler
>wake up at 6am after 4-5 hours of sleep
>go to school by train (1,5h)
>spend 8h in school studying and hanging out with friends, always full of energy
>hit the gym after school
>do a 3,5h heavy workout of 60-70 sets despite it being fucking retarded, progress going like crazy anyways
>go back home by train
>spend the rest of the day studying for exams and working on your hobby-related projects
>still have some time left to call people faggots online
>repeat 5 days a week, travel somewhere almost every weekend
when I think about it now I used to be a fucking iron man back when, why cant I go back to those times ;_;
>>76272508 (OP)Be glad you set yourself up to be big while your frame was growing. Some of us have to spend our 20‘s and 30‘s undoing the white collar body foundations we stupidly laid in that time.
>>76272508 (OP)sure you did all that anon.
>>76272524well Its true
a lot of my friends used to live a very similiar lifestyle back then doing a part-time physical labor jobs after school
>>76272524>>76272532zoomzooms will never experience the peak amount of life energy people have during their late teenage years since they wasted it all on video games and doomscrolling social media
A valuable perspective to consider when reminiscing about youth is that there were certain institutions in place that made life a certain way.
For instance, here in the states, if you don't go to school, they will arrest your parents.
So everybody is forced into a building for 8 hours a day whether they like it or not.
Side note, I think if they completely obliterated the concept of forced education, most, if not all, of our societal memes would vanish in a generation or two (or maybe overnight).
School culture is like the culmination of 200 years of coercing humans to behave like the animal kingdom (of which we are apart, but apart nonetheless)
Traditionally, in a monogamous society, big man in the house (microcosm) would be the father, and the younglings would be under the guidance and protections of the father.
It's even a biological reality, when there isn't a strong safe masculine presence around boys and girls, they reach puberty earlier, thus devolving (matter of perspective) into a more R selected human being.
Let's assume the family unit still existed, and boys and girls are separated from their home for 8+ hours a day.
Now it just becomes a matter of who reaches puberty first in this environment. Middle school chads aren't always highschool chads and vice versa.
It's a complex biological interplay and honestly the only solution to the problems we face is to internally dictate your biological evolution rather than waiting on environment cues.
Thus, we should go inward.
The moral of the story is OP, you probably had to right environmental triggers to active you into that state given the culture and now you need to internally give yourself those cues, which requires real effort, which most people lack.
