>Week 3 on the carnivore diet
>Feeling great, have constant energy, no mood swings
>Lost 4 lbs already, gotten into the habit of eating twice a day
>Everything is going great
>Except my jaw won't stop hurting
>Picrel is my meal for today (cuban dish of shredded beef fried in lard with some pork rinds and onions)
>Jaw hurt for 2 hours after eating this, constant dull pain
I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. My jaw hurts constantly after almost every meal. I didn't have this before on my old diet of junk food and carbs, but now I've been having to constantly take ibuprofen and intentionally eat soft shit every other meal (scrambled eggs / ground beef) to avoid jaw pain. Everything I eat on this diet is either hard like pork rinds, or tough and chewy like steak.
How the fuck is this possible? I don't have any cavities, my wisdom teeth are still in (and fully grown out), and I've never had any problems at the dentist. After 24 years of eating a modern diet is my body seriously so fucked up that I cant adapt to a diet that isn't carb heavy?
