My doctor just proscribed me with escitalopram even after I explicitly told him I don't feel comfortable with the idea of taking medication. Should I just listen to him and take it?

just try it, if you dont like it come off, but if it makes a significant positive inmprovement then you can decide whether its worth continuing to take
