Recomping on Steroids
It seems to have been working out for me, but the progress still seems relatively slow. I have been simultaneously gaining muscle, strength gains, and losing fat, but I question whether I could be doing these things much faster if I did dedicated cutting and bulking cycles instead of eating around maintenance. I am at a pretty advanced level, though, but I'm on roids.

Left pic is from November 29th, right pic is from June 5th. Left pic weight is 287.3, right pic weight is 270.1. I am 5'11. These pics don't exactly do my progress justice. My first injection was on August 31st.

This is just a couple days after I started taking roids. I'm way fatter here, but I just weighed 279.5. My peak weight this past year was 292.0 on January 9th, but I was leaner than in this pic. The roids really packed on a ton of muscle in the first few months.

I've been blasting for almost the past 10 months. I've been on around 2500mgs of steroids for the past few months. I record everything I take with timestamps. I really don't want to go on a cruise dose until I'm somewhat lean and jacked, but I estimate this likely won't happen until after I turn 26, and I just turned 25 a few days ago. The steroids really do make a relatively huge difference, but I still feel as though the progress isn't fast enough. Obesity really is a pain in the ass when you also simultaneously want to be jacked.

I weighed 250 in January 2024, and I was at my fattest back then, aside from 2020, when I was around 100 pounds fatter before going through a massive fat loss period. I don't have any pics from January 2024. I was eating at possibly just above maintenance until around January 2025.

I don't get it. I might as well take it. I despise being fat, and I don't want to be a shrimp, either. I want to be lean and jacked, and this is the fastest path to there. I don't have anything else to show off. I do plan on going back to college this year after getting a lot of control over my anxiety and insomnia caused by OCD to study mechanical engineering. I've been jobless and living off welfare while living with my dad since I was 17. I haven't been able to get a job due to the insomnia caused by OCD. It's a long story, but it's gradually gotten way better in the past year and a half. I feel like I would have more job flexibility with an engineering degree. I just need to mentally prepare for the engineering school and review all the math I used to know. (I self taught myself all the way to calc 2.) I don't really have any other option. It's this, or stay a NEET until my boomer dad dies, and then I'm fucked.

I got so fat from insomnia caused by OCD. Here's how it happened. I would only get around 5 hours of sleep every 24 hours, and I would absolutely stuff myself before bed, because it would take me several hours to fall asleep, and once I woke up after around 5 or 6 hours, I wasn't able to fall back asleep. Believe it or not, I actually used to be underweight. My appetite is actually pretty small. I got this really bad insomnia when I was 13. I weighed 130 when I was 13, and I exploded up to around 360 when I was 19. I lost around 110 pounds in 2020, and I got down to 250 and stayed there all the way up to 2024.

My sleep is way better now. I take a cocktail of four different drugs (quetiapine, suvorexant, melatonin, and zolpidem), and I wait for the drugs to kick in, and just hop into bed and fall asleep almost instantly, and I can sleep for 9 to 12 hours.

I weigh pretty much the same as I did in early April, but I'm much stronger. I record all my workouts and take notes. I have a pretty decent diet, and I even got bloodwork recently, along with having them check out my heart. I have been recomping, but I've just been debating whether it's worth it or not. This shit just takes way too much time. If I weren't fat, I would just be focused on carefully bulking with a small caloric surplus all the time, which would be super fun. My stupid obesity complicates everything.

I went from a bulky and strong 225 to a lean 195 in 4 months and all I needed was 250 test/wk and 40mgs of anavar ED. Kept all my strength, all my lifts and I am SIGNIFICANTLY leaner. Just cut hard and use the roids to help, they do have an impact on fat loss and a huge one on muscle preservation.
You will feel like a new fucking man after a good cut trust me. I feel lighter, my old nicer clothes fit me again, and people who haven't seen me in months give compliments on my face and weight loss.

I was diagnosed with gynecomastia when I was 13 and I was skinny. When I was in high school, it was already somewhat bad. The roids haven't changed anything. Also, gyno is naturally larger when you're fat. That breast tissue has fat tissue within it, and those pockets of fat get larger the fatter you are, but they go away as you lean out.

Fine with the medication. But if you're doing 2.5g of roids per week you'll die. I don't want you to be thinking about this 4chan post on your way to the ER when you get a heart attack. You already have a ton of muscle mass, just go to a doc, get PCT in case you can still save your balls from certain death, and lean out.

I had bloodwork done a month ago. They did an EKG and scanned my heart. Everything is fine. My lipid panel is horrible, but you will always have a horrible lipid panel on any steroid cycle.

I can leg press 1000 for 8 reps, full ROM, bringing my knees to the sides of my chest, and if I started training flat bench again, I could likely bench 315 for 9 or more. I've done it for 7 half a year ago. I likely have somewhere between 60 to 80 pounds of fat to lose before I'll be lean.
