A general thread where people can post about research, effects, and stories about creatine and creatine use. Post creatine stashes or something idk.
Stop making creatine threads I'm fucking sick of it.

This - AGAIN.
It's a no brainer - take it.
5mg a day - any more and you piss it out/ explosive diarrhea.
All it does is transform ADP back in to ATP after the muscle has used it as fuel and allow it to be used again.

No, it doesn't.
If your hair follicles are sensitive to testosterone then they will fall out anyway.
Heavy lifting will boost your T levels - aided by creatine.
IT doesn't cause this. This is your own fucked-up genes.

If you're worried, don't do anything that makes you manly.

last time I did a cycle of creatine I began grinding my teeth during the day.
The problem is that I don't know if I was grinding because of creatine or because of a very stressful situation I was in.
What should I do guys? Should I try again?

Semantics.
Doing weights, especially the big moves; squats, bench press increases your natural level of testosterone.
It's people's sensitivity to testosterone which does this - not the creatine.
I'm old as fuck, work out 5 days a week and take creatine every day. I still have a full head of (silver) hair.

Sounds like a you problem.

Not just this - it helps with muscle pain, DOMS, and recovery also - especially if you're older.
There are other effects too - clarity of thought and a little water retention.

Don't like it, don't take it. Simple.

it's actually around 0.05% increase in performance only after 6 days.
muscle mass increase is 7.1% for upper limbs, 3.2% for lower limbs, 2.1% for trunks after 56 days.
it's cheap and has no side effects.

yes these are much lower than PEDs but you also won't kill yourself with it.

But maybe creatine makes the hair follicle more sensitive to testosterone via some mechanism, such as changing DNA methylation status affecting hair loss genes.

Creatinge LITERALLY increases DHT. Which is what makes you go bald. That being said you could maybe take Pygeum to offset the DHT affects (since that inhibits DHT).

It's not semantics idiot. It actually increases increases DHT. It's basically a reverse fin. If fin slows down your hairloss, is that semantics too?

Well it doesn't go towards anything useful.

>As with many supplements or medications, excessive doses of creatine may cause digestive issues. In a 2008 study , a 5-g dose taken twice daily caused diarrhea in 29% of participants, which was not significantly different from the placebo. However, a 10-g dose taken once daily increased diarrhea risk by 56%.

But knock yourself out - take a shedload, shit your pants .
