Does anyone feel more sluggish when only focusing on weight lifting. I’ve gotten stronger and benchpress 225 but I always feel slower and not as explosive. And no I’m not fat. Wanna focus on this type of body shape instead of just going for mass

You get that body by lifting heavy weights. You're probably too skinny and too fat so you don't look like that.

Yeah, but it's probably attributed to aging and not working out explosively

At 35+ I'm stronger than ever in all lifts and have good cardio but I don't think I could jump over a fence or sprint on command without snapping my shit

I want to believe that I could probably fix that in a few months' time

You totally could. I jump fences and shit all the time just to see if I can, and can sprint all out without issue and I'm 40. Just keep everything moving and don't let yourself get rusty.

Are you absolutely certain you’re getting enough protein every single day, anon? Weight in lbs multiplied by 0.84 = the (maximum) number of grams of protein you need per day. If yes, remember that plant sources of protein are approx 50% bioavailable, so you consume 40g of protein from beans but your body only absorbs 20% of it, etc.

Cns fatigue, just do speed reps domt walk into the gym 3 days a week(optimal) and do the shit you should do later first then half ass lifting. If strength was irrelevant than any retard using steroids wouldnt immediately boost performance.

You get this physique by doing steroids. He was skinny in the first installment, they told him he was going to be cut, he does steroids, comes back built after a couple months so they let him stay. Stop trying to achieve these things naturally. Take it easy on yourself, don’t do too much chasing a pipedream
