>>76307591Similar thing happened, I was pressing the barbell, suddenly things got a bit slow and sounds got muffled and I felt confused about where I am and heard a loud clang. The loud clang was the barbell missing my head and landing on the safeties of the rack, from full height. Since I was standing like an idiot and not crumpled to a heap people thought that I was just an asshole who was casually dropping barbells on the safeties.
Apparently the shoulder muscles can compress into the neck with anrrow geip and with improper valsalva/not breathing you can knock yourself out doing the press.
