>have been on a diet for a month
>weight has not moved for 2+ weeks at a high deficit
>6'0 204 lbs light activity
>work out 5x a week for 45 min walk 7 miles a day every day
>TDEE calc says 1692 with that at light activity
>i eat 1600 a day the same meal every day AND DO NOT COUNT MY 7 MILES OR GYM TIME IN CALORIES
>breakfast protein bar + 3 scoops whey - lunch 210g chicken + rice (1 cup measured) - dinner 4 large eggs +3 slices bacon + ketchup (3 tbs measured)
>all macros hit for protein/carbs/fat, fat is over by 10-15g sometimes
>ALL calories are counted from vitamins to Gatorade to keep hydrated
>i get 7 hours of sleep with a nap in the afternoon so sleep should be fine
>eat 1600 and dont count the 500+ calories from daily cardio + work out and my weight is NOT moving
i'm about to start throwing shit. this makes no fucking sense. i'm eating at what i should be at, and my overal calories is really near 1k intake with all the fucking working out im' doing and i'm not losing weight at all.
>maybe you should measure!
every single measuring point, thigh, chest, waist, lower waist, hips, and bicep, have also NOT changed at all. this shouldnt physically be possible. i've never had this much trouble losing weight before, and now it's just not moving. my body is literally defying everything ive known about working out and its defying everything you could read about. i've lost weight easily a shit ton of times for military or after i got out so this isnt new. but my weight not moving for this long? at this EXTREME of a deficit? yes that is the only explanation. so op would be losing fat but the body is just clinging to water, have trust. If you want to see the actual progress you would just need to stop sodium and carb intake and get dry. Also it seems like you eat a decent amount of salt what with bacon ketchup and surely you salt everything so its not surprising youd retain water in this case maybe lower it a bit if you are feeling discouraged, but be careful dont wanna get dizzy

Do it the way sandcoons do
Drink water and fuel yourself with something light at dawn, then replenish at 9 or 10 pm with 2 small meals and water etc. another meal before dawn and so on so forth

Stop using cups and tablespoons to measure food, they are very inaccurate. You need to weigh your food with a scale. You are also grossly overestimating the amount of calories you burn with your cardo/lifting. Also it's only been two weeks. Do you weigh yourself right out of bed in the morning? That needs to be the same. You are likely retaining water and will have a big drop fairly soon here. OR you simply don't know how to track your food accurately.

this is the hardest one, on MFP i hit my sodium every day but potassium is ass at 1/3rd mfp's daily goal value as i have no calories for a banana unless i drop 1 whey scoop then i dont hit my 75% for protein.

yes. you should be over 2x your sodium intake in potassium. You're probably eating 3000mg so you need to reduce salt or increase potassium to 6000mg and probably aim for 4-5 liters of water. maybe change rice for a potato or add spinach you know easy stuff that doesnt change a whole lot, i like spinach with my eggs, and i swapped rice for potatoes its not too tough actually

Potassium is easy, just eat a ton of veggies and fruits every day. Cook some veggies in a can of tomato paste, boom that’s half your potassium for almost no calories and a ton of other nutrients. Anyone who advocates for limiting fruits and veggies without being on pure carnivore or something is beyond retarded. It’s like the best nootropic I’ve ever taken on top of being good for your body.

Yeah looks like potassium in mixed vegetables is about the same as a banana and more calories, itd be better to just eat a banana at this point, but that brings back the whole how do i fit this in my calories, id have to take something out and even then its only 1/6th my potassium for the day for 100 calories. This is why its hard, like the fuck can you do with limit calories

>>all macros hit for protein/carbs/fat, fat is over by 10-15g sometimes
15g fat = 135 calories
15g carbs = 115
15g prot = 60

okay so that is an extra 310 calories a day
Then of course its the extra 100 calories from the cooking oil
And then the extra calories form the dressing/sauces you put on, another 50-100cal
And then the extra calories from you using cups and spoons to measure with which is another 50-100

So you are actually getting 600 more calories a day then you think are.
You are actually eating 1692 + 600 calories which is 2292 calories per day

I once fasted for 3 days and gained two pounds of weight. Still lost 250lbs overall from fasting. Sometimes weight loss makes no goddamn sense if you track your weight daily, just keep at it. If no results after 5 weeks, them you ought to reassess.

“Mixed vegetables” isn’t a mix of random vegetables, it’s mostly corn and peas, which are closer to grains and have fairly poor potassium calorie ratios. Just look through the values of other veggies. 1 pound of broccoli has 150 calories and 1500 mg of potassium, can of tomato paste is 139 calories and 1700 mg of potassium. Don’t sweat a few calories from veggies, they’re hard to access anyways.

I’ve tried a ton of nootropics and none have been helpful really other than creatine. Eating a 1.5 pound bag of broccoli, on the other hand, makes me feel so clear and fluid. If I avoid brain fog generating food like bread and processed shit, and eat lots of veggies and fruits, it makes my IQ go up by like 20 points. I’m just better at everything, my reflexes are insane, I’m fluent and easy socially, good at games. Combine it with exercise and I’m a different human being. Oh, and another thing I’ve added recently- humming. No joke. I read that humming leads to insane increases in nitric oxide generation in your nose, like 20 times increase (look it up), so I started just sitting there humming for 10 mins before cardio and it potentiates the mental boost from cardio like crazy. There are so many cool things you can do to improve your body

Thyroid!
Take 12.5mg of iodoral 15 to 30 minutes before breakfast. Do this every day for one year. Its normal to get a neck rash initially while doing this, it will go away, stop taking iodoral after 365 days on it.

You'll restore your thyroid back to normal function, which translates to a higher metabolic rate which means you'll lose weight.

I tried hard mewing and and posture optimizing and got really strong mental benefits from it, which are definitely real because I had zero expectation that mewing would impact my mind. That one still confuses me, I want to figure out what’s going on there, could be very fruitful

have you ever tried an error estimation? It's basic scientific practice to put some margins into your data, especially if the result isn't what you'd expect

1) Your TDEE is 1700 with light activity. But what if it's 10% lower? Then TDEE' is 1530 kcal
2) You eat 1600 but what if you really ate 10% more? then your consumption' is 1760 kcal
3) next you estimate you burn 500 kcals daily but what if it's 10% less? then it's 450 kcal

(1760 - 1530 - 450) kcal = - 220 kcal
That's basically nothing or neglectable. Iirc 1 g of stored fat is 9 kcal, so you'd lose under ideal circumstances about 25 g of fat daily, so losing even 1 kg would take 40 days at least. Of course within a month you'd hardly see results.

So my suggestion: skip the gatorade trash, watch your heartrate during exercise (preferably must be lower for cardio, higher for weightlifting) and wait a few more months

You are eating so much protein you are probably still recomping and storing more water and glucose in your muscles as you adapt. You were out 9 months it will take a couple months to get back adjusted. Is your physique not changing at all either? Id just stick to your diet maybe add some a couple more servings of rice because you walk 7 miles a day and youll probably start dropping weight before you know it

Can't you just roll a bunch of DnD dice and base your whole life on that, or stick to astrology?
I'm just saying that being mystified why your body doesn't respond to the wild claims of a random number generator is pretty much a waste of time.

they are pretty accurate if you always choose 'sedentary' as your activity level, and don't trust calorie estimates by phone apps for food or exercise. you can trust food labels to some extent but just accept that exercising doesn't burn many calories and if you want to lose fat you just have to eat less. using a scale to track your weight loss and counting calories is a foolproof way to lose weight. day to day measurements aren't very useful but if you keep at it and watch the overall trend you will prove to yourself that it works.

CICO is voodoo science, as you have experienced by yourself. Just like every person who ever tried it. It doesn't work.

And still, everyone clings to it. It's a religion by now, or rather, what atheists claim religion is, like all science. Just pure make believe, no facts needed.

Hint: Your stomach isn't an oven. No one can tell you how many calories you actuall digest and how many you burn. This varies by individual. No one can predict how your body will react on less food and more moving. We don't even know if calories are the right unit to use for the fattening effect of food - it is, after all a unit of heating water. And so on and so on. Just typical voodoo science.

>my body is literally defying everything ive known about working out and its defying everything you could read about. i've lost weight easily a shit ton of times for military or after i got out so this isnt new. but my weight not moving for this long? at this EXTREME of a deficit? FUCKING HOW?

Calories are all gematria and kabbalah Jewish non-sense. Nobody can prove jack shit about what a calorie is and how it relates to how your body converts it to energy. Stop thinking in terms of numbers so much. Just listen to your body. You should feel hungry often enough to lose weight. If you feel hungry, be assured that you are making progress. The longer you endure hunger pangs, the better. Personally, I recommend OMAD. Drink coffee, diet coke, and whatever else gets you through the rest of the day successfully. I recommend eating your meal at night.

Could be constipation. It happens to me sometimes. I don't shit for a week and then take a big two pound shit one day, then significant shits for the following week as my bowels clear out.

Anyway just lower your calorie intake again, and restrict even more foods. It's likely you're failing to account for something.
>gatorade
>ketchup
>breakfast protein bar (how many servings is each bar)

The easy answer to any time this happens is to just reduce calories even harder. My weight stopped moving at 1500kcal/day, so I dropped to 1200kcal/day and it started moving again. I feel like shit. But I can almost see abs!
