I dont recommend taking ketoconazole (lowers DHT) you can replicate the same antifungal effects from washing your hair with some backing soda. just dissolve a few tablespoons of baking soda in some water and pour it on your head in the shower and let it sit for a few minutes and massage it in. If you feel less "DHT itch" and scalp tension after doing this than congrats you had fungal overgrowth on your scalp.
-Do NOT take finasteride.
-Now for the most important points. YOU need to lower your estrogen / prolactin levels and keep your gut free of endotoxin.
-To lower estrogen do these things:
1. Supplement with a 325mg aspirin daily (gericare brand is clean)
2. Eat a carrot salad daily. the carrot will wipe your gut clean of estrogen and endotoxin. Did you know that 90% of serotonin (inflammatory turpor hormone) is created in the gut? and a big portion of estrogen is excreted through the gut and shitting? What does this mean? You need to be pooping at least 1 to 2 times daily and not have these inflammatory hormones fermenting in your gut to be reabsorbed. GUT inflammation is everything. Start counting how many poops you have a day. If you are not pooping 1-2 times. Increase coffee intake and supplement magnesium these will cause bowel movements.
-Make sure you are getting adequate sodium. salt your eggs meat fish to taste. (salt lowers aldosterone which is heavily implicated in balding)
-coconut water / milk / freshly squeezed oj for optimal potassium levels.
-Have 1-2oz liver once a week AND Have canned oysters in olive oil 1-2 a week to cover your micronutrients just to make sure you aren't deficient in some random micronutrient like zinc copper or b-vitamins.
-If you have the willpower; light scalp massage with fingertips / knuckles few minutes daily (10-20min) (lowers scalp cortisol / breaks up fibrotic scalp)
