I’ve been lifting at the same gym for 13 years

Never any virus from the gym

Recently to start saving on money I started using the gyms water fountain…. And I got a stomach bug…shit pure water for the last 36 hours… have done diarrhoea 15 times in total so far.


I did notice some people stick their bottle to refill it all the way up the fountain, I did think maybe if their bottle had some virus on it, that it would attach itself to the fountain…

I really only ever go to the gym. So it can’t be anything else…. Basically did the water fountain at the gym give me a stomach bug?

Also I am in my late 30s and haven’t had stomach bug since I was a very young child… though I’ve never exposed myself to them by avoiding potential risks (up until recently at least)

I’ve never caught any other illness from 13 years of going to the gym… not until I started using the water fountain this last week

Yeah not much lol, just got a little too autistic about min-maxing my finances and thought I’d get away with using the gym for free water while I lift.

It’s a little funny a few days into drinking from the water fountain, as I saw other people refill their bottles… I noticed some of them shoved their entire bottle up the fountains nozzle… so clearly the nozzle is touching a bunch of random peoples water bottles… and then a few days later I’m shitting my guts out anytime I eat or drink something… fucking

13 years of never getting anything from the gym and I end up getting something to say $60/month on water bottles
