That still places you 2 standard deviations below normal people in every aspect of life.

Is it better to do 2 sets of 5 rep max followed by a third and fourth set of 50 reps each?

In every single podcast/interview he does, in which the topic of volume comes up, he recommends the standard 10-20 sets/muscle/wk.Which is fundamentally anti-HIT.
I think HIT retards just assume he's on their side and try to claim him because he's also against the DEEEEP STREEEEETCH crowd, who recommend insanely high volume.
But both camps have lost the plot. Just do 10-20 like a normal fucking person.

Nah. I'll stick to my 6-8 sets to failure in an 8 day cycle.

In every conversation he still takes time to explain that hit is valid is lower ranges ie 4-6 a week. How that's probably ideal for the general populace and that the only people who should seriously deviate from this are people attempting to be career bodybuilders. He is THE HIT guy of this generation.

He's always been based. People just hate him because he doesn't endorse their meme training.

This has served me well. i.e. followed dumb advice like 6-8 sets per week for muscle, gained jack shit. Listened to Mike about higher volume, increased volume, made gains BUT also listened to rest of his shitty advice that you need pump and you need to be sore the next day or else workout wasn't effective so began chasing volume when i'd stop getting sore and hit a brick wall.

Used to spam those a ton in the past. pretty.much the only cardio machine i used for years. But swimming still has something relaxing and cooling to it. But can make sore muscles more sore
