Yes!! I've been weighted pull ups-pilled for the last half year or so and it has been game-changing. Absolutely the best way to progress the exercise, trying to progress it on just volume is no good.

How do you train/progress weighted pull ups and chin ups?
Is it like 5×5 strenght training style with long rest periods and adding a microweight everytime etc or
is it more lot of volume like how many can you do in 30 mins and adding more weight after you can do x amount in that time

No, doing more than 1 working set for your compounds is retarded. Find a weight that you can do 3 clean reps with and build from there. Once you are able to do 4-5 clean reps with that weight add 2.5lb and repeat. At some point you'll need to get some 1.25lb plates when you hit a sticking point.
