Hi /fit/
how do i end a cut? Was on a 500-1500 cal/day deficit since march and cut down 10 kg to 12-15 % bf.
Do i just go back to my normal tdee (i want to maintain during summer) or slowly upping the intake to ease my metabolism in?
thanks in advance

Just calculate your current weight TDEE and macros and eat that. Legitimately all you have to do.

You add back more of the stuff that you were eating before.
If you cut carbs completely, you add them slowly back again, if you just reduced the portion, you increase your portions slowly.

If you were meticulously tracking your calorie intake and know how much weight you lost, you will have a good idea of what your effective TDEE was during your cut.

I would return to this + 50-150 calories (assuming you maintain approximately the same activity level, your TDEE will slightly increase if you increase your calories).

If it's your first time being 12-15% in a while, I recommend trying to stay here for at least 4-8 weeks to set a new baseline for your metabolism before trying to aggressively bulk.

But don't forget to enjoy summer.
