Why is the industry gatekeeping that explosive movement (weight training, cardio) provides an order of magnitude more results, the data is all there and it's an undeniable fact now

My best gains have been from relatively low weight dumbbells and machines with high volume and intensity instead of focusing on heavy weight compound movements. Kind of a Serge Nubret approach.

Nobody even agrees on what explosive means. The only thing that adheres to it's strict definition is compound lifts that you can get for around 5 reps which is what the strongest guys have always done and will always do. So you're right unless you're talking about momentum based stuff which is more likely.
