I've posted this before, but I've since updated my dosing to combat some side effects.

I started off taking 1mg finasteride every day, but developed these side effects:

Weeks 1-2: sperm became watery and went from being white to transparent, but I expected this and didn't care.

Weeks 3-4: lower ejaculation volume, I didn't really like that, but I accepted it

Weeks 5-6: I was consistently having dry orgasms (medical term is retrograde ejaculation) meaning I would orgasm but no cum would come out of my dick. After learning about it, the semen actually goes into your bladder and you piss it out later. This is when I knew I had to do something because this actually started fucking with mentally. I would go days without jerking off or having sex, then have an orgasm, and nothing would come out when I was expecting a huge load.

So I did some research, and I guess finasteride is pretty effective even in smaller dosages, so I started taking 1mg finasteride every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

This pretty much stopped the dry orgasms from being consistent, but my ejaculation volume and semen were still watery.

I've been wanting to get rid of the dry orgasm stuff completely because while it was mostly gone every now and then when I would have sex I would still have a dry orgasm it just wasn't consistent like it used to be, so I've cut my dosage down to 0.5mg of Finasteride on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

So far my semen is no longer watery, it's white again, and it's a lot thicker than it was, and I haven't had a dry orgasm yet, but I've only been on 0.5mg for 2 weeks. I also feel like my erections are harder for some reason too

As long as 0.5mg keeps my hair from falling out (I'm also taking minoxidil daily), then I'm pretty happy with where I'm at.

I got my prescription online through GoodRX using a telehealth doctor. I pretty much just had to take 3 pictures of my head, send it to them, and I received a Finasteride prescription in like 2 hours lol.

Retard, DHT is only a potent androgen in the tissue it's produced. So basically just your prostate, skin and liver. It doesn't do shit beyond making you go bald, make your skin worse, give you thicker body hair and enlarge your prostate after puberty. Muscle tissue literally shuts it down and converts into another hormone with no effect on them if exposed. The side effect has nothing to do with DHT, but the extra test not being converted into DHT instead being partly aromatized into estrodials in some individuals.
