Yes, being strong is worthwhile in the long term so your body doesn’t breakdown rapidly when you get older

Powerlifters define strength as raw numbers and every single thing that causes them to go up. Three of them are within your control and they are weighing more, growing muscle, and clown form on the lifts. Since it's easier to eat and clown I wouldn't advise going full powerlifter.
You're still gonna have to grow muscle though which is also strength and is also compound lifts for heavy fucken sets.
