I have been doing stronglifts pretty consistently for the past ~month, I feel great. I haven't done strength training in a long time, maybe about 10 years. I remember last time I was actively posting on here, starting strength was the novice program people were shilling and what was in the sticky, why did that change? stronglifts said to start with the bar but I didn't do that because that's gay, I started with a bit more and worked up to weight that I can comfortably (but not too easily) lift for 5x5. so far I am at:
bench press: 140lbs
overhead press: 90lbs
deadlift: 225lbs
row: 125lbs
I am 6ft2 245lbs fat as fuck I want to get down to about 190. I am looking into getting a weightlifting coach at least for a couple sessions just to get my form down. thank you for reading my personal blog
