what inspired you to train
what made you first wanna train

when i was young I raised on video games
some of my earliest memories come from pc gaming
I remember playing fable 1 and thinking it was so cool you could use your exp to get stronger by leveling strength, physique and toughness
and your character would even reflect these changes by getting buffer and being able to wield heavier weapons

its kinda cringe but between that and others games plus my father being in the army it shaped my views on fitness from a very young age thats continued for 20 years of training

as i find myself achieving some long set out goals i like to reflect on the past and how it all got here

Autism MMOs like RuneScape and MapleStory gave me the work ethic
High test art and fiction like Frank Frazetta's body of work, Devilman, Berserk, Dragon Ball (fuck Z past Frieza saga), Rocky, Predator, Conan, etc gave me the inspiration. They taught me that being /fit/ and physically competent is part of being masculine, if they were scrawny faggots they wouldn't be nearly as interesting, imposing, or capable.

How does a guy need inspiration to want to be bigger, faster, and stronger? My first coherent thought was I should be bigger.

I was on the cusp of being overweight. And fat people are gross. But mostly, I asked myself if my anime waifu would love me the way I was. The answer was no, so I wanted to be worthy of her and become fit.

The CIA is trying to kill me also I was shown irrefutably how this is a simulation not base reality. Instead of making me nihilistic like 'there's no point in anything cos nothing is real' it had the opposite effect like 'hey cool I live in a video game'. And I wasted sooo much time grinding in RPGs like Morrowind why would I not do the same IRL? Would be sad not to.

Also they jacked me up with a bunch of alien technology from the future such as cybernetic implants like in system shock and a bunch of other crazy shit I don't feel comfortable talking about.

I suspect I'm a prototype of some description so should expect to be tested as such.

If we were someone's virtual zoo we'd have to be like their super ai or something and be smarter than them because otherwise they'd have shut it down by now. Sonichu at the latest. No way that wouldn't be the last straw.

Ever increasing random pains all around my body (specially all over my spine), diffculty moving due to my weight, shortness of breath and heart palpitations. Quite an experience is to live in fear, isn't it?

based as fuck, anons
for me Conan, Witcher, Elric, fantasy stories and games in general, RPGs that I could self insert into and emulate, anime like Dragon Ball, Hajime no Ippo, Jojo (gay I know), Baki...
All you do, all media you consume you learn from passively or actively and it shapes your outlook and motivation, sense of discipline
