Man, planet fitness can be brutal sometimes

>be 16
>join gym for the first time
>no fucking idea what I'm doing so I sit on a pec deck
>gym owner, a morbidly obese man, "stabs" his index finger into my flabby chest and laughs
>walks away

Brutal to get my weirdest gym interaction ever right off the bat.

How do people even injure themselves when they’re first starting? I have a hard time believing humans can have such a low level of proprioception to not understand when they are about to injure something. It’s weird. If you injure yourself as a beginner you’re retarded IMO, it’s the one time in a lifting career there is no reason to go heavy and to focus purely on form and feel
