Yes, twice a day and I rinse with mouthwash after, then use electric toothbrush. I also avoid sugary drinks religiously.
Unfortunately despite being perfectly consistent with this routine for years I was still diagnosed with a almost dead tooth in need of a root canal recently. Feels fucking devastating.
Over 1000€ is what I will likely have to pay in this globonigging country for this dumb shit even though I'm already (by law forced to) paying hundreds of euros a month insurance.

Take care of your teeth and you won't need a dentist desu. I'm an Ausfag too and I've managed to keep my teeth in good shape by doing what you're supposed to.
The only fuck up I've made was not flossing and that caught up with me after a few years since shit gets stuck way up in your gums and can cause an infection eventually. Since I started flossing, I'm pretty amazed at how much junk comes out of those spots in your gums and between your teeth.

Based. Though it seems like most dentists are white from what I've seen, it's only GPs that seem to be Indian here. My guess is because it costs a premium to see a dentist and people will just choose a white dentist in that case.

But yeah, just doing the right thing means you probably won't ever have to see a dentist again. I also got an electric toothbrush on a dentists advice and it's pretty damn good, apparently it's all about the tiny vibrations helping get that tar shit off which can't really be done with hand brushing.

Why are root canals a problem? I'm only 25. The fact that one tooth has even gotten this bad at this young age is already killing me inside man. If they pull my tooth there's probably gonna be some dumb domino effect to my jaw as I get older.
What's weird is that this tooth doesn't even hurt. I've heard from other people that got a root canal it was worth it because of how much pain they bad before it. But mine somehow doesn't.
I've been told that whether or not my tooth hurts could somehow be important for my insurance and they could possibly cover the costs if it did, which is fucking weird because it's literally close to dying regardless of the pain.
I don't get this shit man. I just want it to be over with

Poor dental hygene increases likelihood of complications which often leads to extraction. Erupting wisdom teeth naturally cause minor trauma and inflammation, unchecked bacteria growth isn't a good combo. That said you can just get fucked by genetics, but that's always the case with everything.

i was the same. went and i had to get an extensive deep gum cleaning because of all the plaque that had built up over the years. just because your teeth "feel fine" and arent yellow stained chiclets doesnt mean theyre perfect. but really, what is with people here not going to the dentist 1-2 times a year for a general cleaning? too poor to even have dental insurance? or is it going to be your "dentists are lying jooz, dey just want my money" spiel that you also use to excuse not wearing deodorant or using shampoo?

dentistry is a scam. all you need for healthy teeth is daily brushing, good diet, and plenty of vitamins and minerals. even cavities will calcify and smooth out if you stop eating sugar.

it's not good to scrape your soft teeth with steel and rapidly twirling hard brushed tools. there's no reason to drill into teeth and install metal and plastic in your mouth. you should also keep your wisdom teeth.

Yeah actually, and my teeth are great. I take care of my teeth because they are easy to fuck up permanently if you're not careful. I floss every night before going to sleep as part of the routine.
I also wash the teeth and don't rise as I shower. Basically leave the foam there for a good 10, 15 minutes.
Oh and also don't eat a good 3 to 4 hours before going to sleep. But also don't wash teeth immediately after eating. Best to wash is 1h or more after eating.

Tooth brushing is mostly a scam. It's all about diet.

I have never flossed in my entire life because as a child I didn't know it was a thing and didn't even brush my teeth that often. I just brush but I still forget sometimes. No cavities when I last visited a dentist 11 years ago.

I still have doubts about this being able to work correctly, the jet of water would have to be pretty extreme to get out stuck pieces of steak and whatever.

It's a low-key really awesome cleaner (strong base). I asked the senior auto parts guy what's best to clean my wheels. He said "fuck everything on the shelf. go get some baking soda." I did, and it works really well. Couldn't be any cheaper. I haven't tried to whiten my teeth with it yet lol. It's a little abrasive.

You can crank up the pressure and make your gums bleed. No problems dislodging big shit.

Floss is like the mouth version of receipt paper. It contains exogenous estrogen and will crash test levels.

Never floss.

I'm convinced cavities either aren't a big deal, or the dentist just lies and starts drilling. I haven't been to the dentist since I was a teen (32 now). I brush & waterpik, and I have no pain or problems. Fucking dentists, yanking wisdom teeth and jack-hammering into healthy teeth for profit. Bunch of fucking juden.

you're right, the battery ones are kind of weak but the unit you plug into an outlet is like a pressure washer. I had a repeat problem with food getting stuck in a specific spot between two teeth where one had shifted. Went to 3 dentists about it. (The last one actually fixed it.) but up until that point the waterpik was the only thing that could clean out the lodged food causing the pain. They really are worth it.

I suppose I'll consider one, I have one area in my teeth where chicken and steak will always get stuck until I floss it out.

You gotta stand over the sink and look straight down. Turn it on once it's inside your mouth and keep your mouth slightly open so it pours out
