>โall the healthy food is just so damn expensiveโ
Is there a bigger fatty lie ever told?
veggies are fairly expensive considering they provide basically no calories
but still, dried beans, a meat like ground pork or dark meat chicken, and whatever carb is perfectly fine and cheap, so they really don't have any excuse
rising fast food and processed food prices are legitimately one of the biggest reasons i've been able to keep eating healthy the last few years.
I don't think they're necessarily talking about fruit or veg when they say that but those high priced "healthy" yogurts or ready meals or protein drinks. Let's be real the average overweight normie isn't cooking their own meals
>>76352327 (OP)It's not. But it's way fucking easier to eat 300 calories of chocolate, 300 calories of potatoes chips, 300 calories of microwavable burrito, etc. than it is to do anything remotely reasonable with a vegetable. One food is literally grab and chew, the other requires getting a pan (ewww).
>>76352339If you stick to stuff like onions, carrots and local seasonal veggies you can still get a lot for cheap.
The thing is you can get a lot of processed calorie bombs like ready made lasagna that are way more convenient and at first glance look cheaper. A lot of people seem to lack the capacity to think long term about cost and health.
>>76352327 (OP)No such thing as healthy food that's a CIA racket
It's food or DEAD TRASH FAKE FOOD
BOMB THE RESTAURANTS DEATH TO THE KILLERS OF HEALTH
CAPTCHA 4TNG4Y
>>76352363>high priced "healthy" yogurts or ready meals or protein drinksThis. This is what fat faggot retards think /fit/ people are eating all the time, that or salads (LMAO) or gay bullshit like quinoa or whatever. In reality we're eating chicken breast with rice/lentils and an apple, pretty fucking easy and cheap shit. You could get insanely huge eating nothing but Costco rotisserie chicken if you had to.
>fearmonger the goy into believing vegetables are 100% necessary for optimal health
>charge and make bank
Tale as old as Father Time himself. It's like the "studies" from the 60's where they claimed fat is bad for you and how tanning is bad and you need sunscreen.
>>76352607U have no idea how deep the rabbit's holes go
Wait until you find out about the lymph system and aluminum
>>76352633I watched that video and holy shit that was awful to see. People who do these body building contests are mentally ill, sure dude is natty but I 100% guarantee you he took multiple years off his lifespan for that shit. That is DAMAGE he will not recover from. All for what? Jesus mate, if you're gonna be so vane and destroy your self for your own ego, just take steroids. Saves you the time.
>>76352607if you have a yard you can simply grow your own vegetables
nah that's crazy, better spend loads of money and energy on having a pristine neatly trimmed grass lawn
>>76352648Lmfao let me use my limited time on earth to farm weeds
>>76352651you already are by maintaining a lawn
for a lot of vegetables you can just plant them in the spring, cover them with mulch after they've grown a bit, and then harvest when they're ready. will you get the best yields? no. is it less effort than mowing your lawn every week? yes
>>76352647>sure dude is nattySince when is passing a lie detector a valid way of claiming you're natty?
>>76352656Lmfao imagine owning a single family home instead of a condo townhouse or apartment hahahahahaha
Nothing healthy in that image
>>76352812Sure little baby. How are the dinosaur chicken nuggets and krafts Mac n cheese holding you down?
>>76352812Friendly reminder carnies never post body
>>76352327 (OP)Orange juice is fake and like $12 a gallon, you never notice it because you buy it in less than half gallon containers for $5. Recently I gave up on the orange jewce and started just buying oranges to eat instead, and they're way fucking cheaper by volume. Everything is cheaper when you buy the whole raw ingredients.
>>76352327 (OP)itโs like 20 bucks for a single combo meal nowadays when you can go pick up a big pack of chicken thighs rice and frozen vegetables for maybe 10 bucks more and eat for a 4-5 days. fatties are lazy fucks, thats all there is to it
my boomer parents are the kind of people who have salads with every meal and theyve said recently that they cut back on how much vegetables they buy for their salads because of how expensive vegetables are now
theyre Greeks and always had salad with lunch and dinner and now they cut back a lot
>>76352327 (OP)>8kg bag of rice - $15>2kg beef mince - $20>5kg potatos - $9>1kg frozen mixed veggies - $5>2kg chicken breast - $25Wow, being fed for a week for less than $100 at the bare minimum?
Wow, it costs less than 2 Uber Eats orders?
>>76353104Shut the fuck up faggot the point is that it is cheap to eat healthy. Is it optimal? No, but it isn't breaking the bank. What I suggested is 100 times better than shelling out for goyslop
>>76352327 (OP)I have literally never eaten grass fed beef, meme grazed chickens, etc. The healthiest meat I've ever eaten is sardines and salmon.
>>76353096>rice>potatoes>veggiesReplace that with eggs and some fruit and you're good.
>>76353104i loved that movie ive probably busted 50 nuts to elsa
>>76353230still need fiber, keep some form of vegetable in there
>inb4 poh-tay-toethats a starchy tuber theres not a ton of fiber compared to broccoli, cauliflower carrots etc
>>76353096Fatties can't comprehend the future. All they know is the craving they're having right now, so they'll see $74 to cook a healthy meal vs whatever goyslop costs.
They can't comprehend the idea of being able to make more than one meal from the ingredients. Thinking ahead is a completely foreign concept for them.
>>76353230Not gonna lie, eggs would really up the price, its the only reason I didn't include them since I was budgetting for under $100 per week. Do agree that as you get more into dietting you can add apples, eggs and probably some dairy like milk or butter, but as a baseline having healthy carbs and proteins works best for the noobie
>>76353269is picrel me? holy shit
i try to encourage healthy lifestyles though in a positive way. but i do kind of hate people who complain about health related problems then never take care of themselves
>>76352327 (OP)Healthy food is bland and gay.
>just le season it! Still sucks
>>76352994>chicken thighshello fatty my old friend
>>76352607Yikes. Literally everything in your post is wrong. Can you just... not?
>>76353421I said you could be fed for a week for less than $100. That doesn't mean you eat all the fucking ingredients in 1 week you mongoloid
>>76353376what are you talking about? lol Its actually the opposite. Chicken breastoids are typically new to fitness, weak untraind skinnyfats. Men who have trained and understand that they are in this for the long haul almost always switch to thighs.
>>76353463thighs are ok but you can get whole chicken legs for less, the roast and stew well
>>76352339Out of season, imported veggies/fruit are. In season and local, cheap as dirt.
>>76353463Breast is pure meat that you throw into literally anything. Anything else you're eating collagen and limit your dish options. People buy other pieces of chicken because they're trying to save money, just quit being poor.
I have a friend with tons of chronic gastrointestinal/organ problems who just got out of the ICU for like the 5th time this year. Next to no stomach left, pancreas is digesting itself, cirrhotic liver, kidneys aren't great, intestines can hardly absorb nutrients at all, but on top of it all he insists on eating heavily processed garbage that his body can't handle and it puts him right back in the hospital.
He was trying to justify himself to me, kept telling me about how frozen food and junk food is the only stuff he can afford because produce and raw meat is way too expensive. I didn't argue with the guy because he's probably gonna be dead within a couple years anyway and I know the doctors have already tried to change his diet, but I just can't imagine thinking like that and using it to justify spending $30-$50 a day on takeout and frozen dinners, especially when it's literally killing you. Lots of poor people genuinely think a head of broccoli is like $20 and they're better off just buying frozen buffalo wings and hungryman dinners.
>>76352327 (OP)Per calorie vegetables are ridiculously expensive.
>>76352327 (OP)how basically everyone i know lives:
>singles with high paying job or DINK couples>they buy their groceries>they are too lazy to cook>they order out on the daily>groceries go bad and get wasted>repeatthese mf fare 35yo with and still manage to end up with no money saved at the end of the month
no kids either
banks wont approve loans to buy homes because they have nothing saved
i don't understand where it all goes
this is literally how my friends and colleagues live
>>76353517what lol. breast is stringy shitty meat. Thigh is literally the best and most deliscous meat. They are both cheap. Thigh just tastes way better and has a better texture. Also any recipe with breast would be improved with thigh meat.
>>76353582Higher fat content, breast has little to not fat on it at all. Don't have to remove bones and skin, either. There's just no point. I can take the breast as is, dice it in a minute and be done.
>Thigh just tastes way better and has a better texture.Subjective, same shit to me. We were discussing value in the context of fitness, breast is the superior and more convenient product.
>>76353594I am glad dumbfags like you (women) keep buying breast to keep my superior tasty thighs cheap :)
>>76353582Plus chicken breast is easier to cook fast and you can get stock/collagen/vegetables, i wonder if steak only 200g/protein is unhealthy.
Bcoz fatties do not cook. Their idea of healthy food is frozen food that says healthy on it, or fresh produce which is expensive but almost never worth buying in the first place.
>>76353611>counts calories instead of carb timingSo much fat it makes you sick to have mainly thighs and ill put like a half stick if butter into pasta if i dont conserve it so idk how you got acclimated to this diet or if youre lying or what.
>>76353611Like at the very least youll be too full and not be able to megadose protein as hard
>too much protein is pointlessFat to that extent is probably even dumber. At least carbs raise insulin and increase mps.
>>76353553And? Who exactly is eating vegetables to meet their calorie requirements? You eat them for the vitamins and fiber not because you're trying to get 300 calories of broccoli In.
I still get chipotle sometimes, though the individual ingredients are cheap as fuck. I've made copycat chicken bowls to decent effect, minus the red salsa. That shit eludes me, and using store bought just doesn't hit the same.
That said; chicken, peppers and onions, and rice open you up to a lot of satisfying meals if you have the right sauces and salsas. Pretty much every dish uses salt pepper garlic. I'm lazy, but I want to go through the grocery store website and fill a cart with staples just to prove the fatty cope wrong.
