Sleep is much more important than I realize for big gains and making progress, how do I stop sleeping like shit?

Are sleep trackers worth it all? How do people sleep better? most stuff I see online just seem like shitty ads

Wear a mouth guard
Turn your phones night mode (blue light blocker) on
Take magnesium
Set room temperature 3 degrees colder than usual
You can thank me later.

idk, its kinda dumb. but since I started lifting I kinda treat my muscles as a separate entity from me.

So when its bed time. it's not me going to bed, it's I need to go put the muscles to sleep. haven't had any trouble sleeping since.

Bro... I never thought about it like this, but I feel the same way. I don't sleep for myself, I sleep for my muscles

Ever since I began tracking my sleep, I feel like my sleep has gotten worse in terms of quality. Sleep with a minimum of three pillows. Sleep naked.

By far the best thing for your sleep is to go to bed and wake up at the same time EVERYDAY. If you can't do that then try to get as close to it as possible. I doubled my REM sleep doing this compared to just sleeping whenever and waking up whenever.

>Wake up from nightmare
>Tell mom about it
>She says "Cool. You know you're going to die in a few seconds, right?"
>Jolt awake in a sweaty panic
That shit was really scary

I hate the one's where that happens, and then it just keep happening. Like I went into a wake up recursion for like 5 dreams and it SUCKED
