I am almost 4 years smoke free and I still want to light one up. Apparently the urge to smoke never fully vanishes.
So if you're a casual smoker stop immediately. Once you have the bug, it's very hard to quit.

Its easy to do for me. If I associate everything negative with smoking ciggs.
> no gf
Cigs
> anxious
Cigs
> paranoid
Cigs
> bipolar triggering more often
Cigs
Etc

I have come to associate everything negative in my life with drugs and it's been helping me stay sober.

Smoked 13 yesterday as opposed to usual 18ish (trying to taper)
Slept like a baby, fell asleep easily and woke up early
It really is worth it. My goal is to smoke around 5 a day max, i dont think i want or can quit completely but 5 a day would be negligible amount

At 5 a day you dont get bad teeth, bad breath, shortness of breath, you dont get bad sense of smell and taste, amount is so low its nothing compared to pack a day

I had a quit streak of like 3 years but over the past year since breaking it I've had two relapses 4-7 months apart
I haven't had a full pack this year and I'm not smoking regularly but I'd caution anyone that has the urge to have one or two after quitting. Mainly because it's never as good as your addict brain tries to tell you it will be, and you're just making it harder to not fall off the wagon again
Having said that, I still hypocritically plan to try some local packs and a smoking cafe when I visit Japan for the first time later in the year, but there's no way in hell I'm gonna touch them after that. (unless i get drafted in ww3 or something)

And? Was life a contest about who lives the longest?

>it's addicting!!!

It's not, as long as you're not under-aged and you can smoke in moderation

>it's....IT'S EXPENSIVE!!!

Thankfully I was /fit/ before I got addicted to nicotine, so I was immediately able to tell how much it tanked my cardio. It made quitting very easy.

> Identification of natural flavonoids as novel EGFR inhibitors using DFT, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics†
>Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a tyrosine kinase receptor that causes different types of cancers on its overexpression or mutation and rearrangement or amplification of the EGFR gene. Inhibition of EGFR is one of the popular cancer treatment techniques.
>Rhamnocitrin derivative Tupichinols E (10) obtained from southern Chinese plant Tupistra chinensis shows the best results. Tupichinols E has 1.4 times more binding ability than osimertinib (third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs)). The compound binds at the exact position of osimertinib in the crystal structure of EGFR and has similar poses.
