You need to cycle it. It is literally a cortisol sink.

>Excess cortisol, a stress hormone, can lead to various physical and emotional symptoms. Common physical signs include weight gain, particularly around the face and abdomen, thinning skin, easy bruising, and muscle weakness. Emotional symptoms can range from anxiety and irritability to depression and difficulty sleeping. If left untreated, chronically elevated cortisol levels can contribute to serious health issues like high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and bone loss.

Feeling emotionless is what happens when your cortisol levels are low, I genuinely don't know what you expected or if you just started taking the stuff without even a precursory search as to what it does

>caffeine increases cortisol
>ashthfwabganpajeetdhwa decreases it
Would it work well if you do caffeine in the morning and ash at night? Or does ashwaganda have a slower method of action?

there are studies that ashwagandha. None of them show 100% success rate. It is measurable.

>sleep
might help
>increase T
nope, but if you are sleeping more guess what
>stress
nope. This is my opinion but i believe most people don't have such a hard link between the two in this direction. Stress causes cortisol, cortisol doesn't cause stress. Too much cortisol causes body issues which cause stress.
>cortisol
might help. You need to cycle it though because you store more cortisol, but it is inactive. You shouldn't do this indefinitely.

If you need something stupid to try pull a humberman (sp?) and get sunlight in your face as early as possible after waking up.

I tried taking that shit for LE DEPRESSION and LE ANXIETY and it did jack shit, granted I only took it for a week or so. If it takes 4-6 weeks to "activate" then it isn't worth taking. An anti-depressant kicks in within a day or two, honestly if it's that bad, you'd be better off getting on fucking Lexapro or some shit.

If you felt "something" it was probably the placebo effect. I'm fully convinced 95% of the vitamin market is a placebo effect. You take 20 vitamins a day? And feel amazing? Great job, maybe it is actually doing something, but probably not. You're low in iron? And take an iron supplement? Maybe that IS actually doing something in your body, but a lot of it? It's all in your mind.

Some doctors might actually recommend supplements if you're deficient in it, but a lot of people aren't. I know Iron is one of the few that people can be deficient in, and it can actually affect their mood and energy.

Oir body likes honeostasis. Thusbif you artoifically reduce cortisol, you body will increase sensitivity to it. It's like using a heroin for pain. You have a honeymoon, but after few months just a touch of your clothes on your skin will feel painfully without heroin.

I assumed you were calling me out for stating an obvious thing. If you were actually mocking me because you thought that I thought that most or some studies were guaranteeing those results then you misunderstood my intent.

I am tired of the shit post around where people claim X is shit and then declare that it is shit for everyone. It is rampant and boring.

no worries

>100% success rate
now I am trying to think if I could design this study. Stupid examples:
>food is good
nope, cholesterol, sodium
>exercise is good
injury, physical stress
>water is good
maybe, if you eliminate external contaminants, but then you have to figure out what "average" water is since distilled water will hurt you eventually.
>sex is good
I wonder if you could get past ethical concerns to get a bunch of incels laid. I wonder how high the risk of suicide would be post study would be. After having regular sex provided to them for a couple of weeks I would imagine that would be jarring for somebody who probably isn't in a good mental state.

I guess I could probably do one of those low subject (8 - 12 people) testing group like a lot of the fitness studies and hope I get lucky.
