You're running intervals aren't you?
The step/calorie trackers are horrible at intervals. You're probably eating more and retaining more water in the short to compensate. Once you get to solid blocks of running it's easier.

Definitely lowers test 100%, if not only from how it effects metabolism or just in practice nobody bulks while running even if beneficial(id rather just lift everything harder and add aux work since im too beat to lift 90min a day and run 30 consisently).
