Why do construction fags have such a superiority complex?
They all talk about "your muscles are just for show, you wouldn't last a day on a worksite." Every time I have seen a construction site it's always 4+ guys standing around watching while one guy does something, usually using machinery/equipment. Where is the backbreaking labor they talk about? Landscaping seems a lot more physically taxing, but people who do that aren't usually aren't so self-aggrandizing about it.
Anonymous No.76377154 [Report]
i think it is weird and unfair how people who do physically demanding jobs don't typically get any benefit from it physique wise. Its really only guys who cut down trees who get jacked from their labor.

I got in shape doing construction. Not all construction jobs are equal. A hard working lanscape or concrete worker is probably going to have strong arms, back, shoulders. Sometimes legs.

They most likely aren't talkin about strength or endurance. They are just saying you are a child who couldn't handle a long day at work at a construction site cause of how shitty it is.
They are basically trying to tell you how shitty their work is and how much they can handle.

Currently its anything in tech. Job market is looking good according to bls despite what all the underperforming graduates and recently laid off employee says.
You can usually find a wfh position, if not at least a hybrid one, with salaries starting at around 85k for someone who just got their degree.
And no, AI isn't going to replace anything. You have never worked with AI if you actually believe it can replace any tech worker at the moment.

If I can (and I do) make more money than them sitting around then lifting with my unbroken body, why wouldn't I? They're just as insufferable as military veterans who think they sacrificed anything forgetting they volunteered to join.

Normies (both male and female and all walks of life) care bigly about trying to jockey for status.

It's an adaptation from back when ostracism from a village was a literal death sentence. And evolved into more-recent conditions. They see almost everything as transactional. Being authentic is scary to them because it means they might lose out on an opportunity to suck a psychopath's dick for a leg up in life or might piss off some BPD retard who then proceeds to stop doing favors for them.
This is really why actually doing what you want bothers them, because they think you're a retard who is going to piss off someone with both a fragile ego and power, and they don't want to be associated with you in case of collateral damage. They may see you as entertaining from afar but they get scared.

However, normies are struggling to grapple with the fact that local social structures now compete with online ones, alongside tech advances. So things that were "respectable" in the past now get you very little in terms of status. They're still important and can make good money, but the social validation has been removed. And there is now the ability to gain a support network which respects things that used to be looked down on, via the internet.
This has created a simmering resentment in your average person who is primarily motivated via social validation, as they mistakenly assume it's a path to resources and stability. But its also gotten to the point where the people who can manipulate normies have gotten very good at it. So they are very careful to just string such people along individually, or exploit this en masse for profit. Garbage food, pill pushing, and it's part of the explosion in what items are seen as luxury/limited edition/insufficiently-produced veblen goods, which has in turn created a big market for scalping.

Total Normie Death. The winning move is to not play their games.

About one-third of office workers report experiencing low back pain within a 12-month period:

In a large cross-sectional survey of U.S. office employees, 34% reported low back symptoms in the previous year, while 28% reported upper back issues .

A systematic review found that 31%–51% of office workers report low back pain annually .

Another study using broader musculoskeletal questionnaires showed about 51% of office workers reported general backache in the past year .

Additionally, neck and upper back pain are also prevalent:

One-year prevalence rates ranged from 42% to 69% for neck pain and 31% to 51% for low back pain .
---

Summary

Region 12‑Month Prevalence

Low Back ~31–51%
Upper Back ~28–51%
Neck ~42–69%

This data shows that around half of office workers experience some form of back pain each year, with low back pain affecting roughly one in three and neck pain often even more common.

Would you like insights into risk factors, ergonomic setup tips, or strategies to alleviate workplace back pain?

Not him, but I think what he's getting at is that if the manual laborers choose not to do resistance training on the side, they're more likely to get injuries and that's their fault.
I recently had a coworker tear a rotator cuff while lowering something that I don't think is very heavy. Joints and connective tissues become stronger with training. That injury was preventable.

It's literally what Nietzsche calls a slave mentality. They don't have the mental fortitude to accept or fix their issue, so by complaining about it, they see it as a victory. When in reality, that energy used bitching about it could have been used to free them out of the the situation. I'll never forget when I was an electrical apprentice, and my "master" electrician would complain that our boss is an asshole and he's quitting today. He never did and would say this at least once a month, when I found out this company was retarded, first thing I did was find work elsewhere.

nta this also applies to shit like bicycling and even fucking lifting. Most people just jump into doing shit without paying attention to form/ergonomics at all and then they suffer for it to the point that having shitty knees and back is just an assumed "30+ thing" and not "wow this is the age where accumulated damage starts to produce noticeable effects."

There are large amounts of people who believe that lifting to the point of hypertrophy destroys your joints as a given, it's retarded.

Even so, the amount of technology needed run a company isn't going to go down. Use of technology is always increasing.
Also the quality of CS grads are extremely low, most students only list their courses they took with 0 internships and 0 projects shown in their public repo. Don't listen to the majority who can't find jobs, these are the people who didnt even do the bare minimum to land a job.

I've worked some construction and obviously they mog me because they can bang a nail for times and be done with it while I have to hit it like 15 times and possibly screw up in the process before it's done.
but when it comes to grabbing and moving shit around I'm always the highest performer. sure they know how to grab a sack of cement with a back breaking technique, but they do it 10 times and have to wipe the sweat in their brow and chit chat a little bit and smoke a cigarette or whatver, while I can be at it all afternoon
gym technique definitely mogs these guys because imagine deafliting 25 kg. it's nothing. you could do it 100 times in a row easily. ohping a beam that weights 30 kg is nothing when you're ohping a plate for reps. it's only the shit that takes years of experience that they really excel at, like banging nails with precission
