PRd 3pl8 and then stopped going so hard on it.
Vary your shit up. Dumbbells, pin press, different grips, tear downs, pyramids, incline/decline

then how many weighted dips can you do?
Anonymous No.76379257 [Report] >>76379314

I can't do weighted dips or dips, I can only do assisted dips with high weight (meaning lower weight). I can do five pushups though.

DYEL newfag here. I was stuck at 85 lbs. for a while, mostly because of poor diet and inconsistent exercise. Got more serious about, hit 95 lbs., and after about a week or two of that, got up to double digits. Am I gonna make it?

I can only 160 for 5 and I've been lifting for almost 3 years now but I'm 5'6 140lbs, I just don't like being fat to bench big but I feel like I should've been able to at least 225 for this time frame, /fit/ told me manlets are supposed to have an advantage in benching but I have long arms so it's the opposite, I'm a failure

Lemme make food and shit ill make a few posts but uh i main prison bench wide flatback, strict incline, suoer close grip thumbless mp no tris and also btb dbs and flies about the same. You gotta get on high weekly volume, keeping your muscle stimulus at 100% amd eating a lot.
Anonymous No.76380003 [Report]
>>76379997
>arched prison bench for inner chest
>flatback for wide chest
>incline size upper and inner, good outer chest work
>steep incline wide to wwird shove mps for feomt delta inner chest shelf

But hinestly im best just doing flat bench varians mostly asits heavier than hyperteophy upper chest as i can do it heavier easier from weakest point then buikd to strict.

Anonymous No.76380041 [Report]
>>76379927
Thats not even bad at all, to lift super you wanna rest for up to 1mo no lifting at all, you keep a cns running average amd it builds up to insane fatigue if you were say sprinting 5x/wk and lifting 2x/day sometimes 5x/wk. Youll see better than noob gains past there as you now have more muscle and produce more test/hgh.

If you want to progress in Bench Press faster start doing aggressive micro-loading training sessions with bigger volume 4 times a week, that's the only way to really get huge numbers on Bench or Overhead Press, unlike with Squat and Dead which you can do twice a week and get the results up.

Anonymous No.76381734 [Report]
4 sets of 10 reps of 225. No idea what my one rep max is. Don’t really see any benefit to benching more than that without using steroids.

last time i did it was 215 so I'm gonna try 225 again soon. just doing 5x5 and trying to get stronger, it's slowly working
been lifting for 6 months but worked out a lot as a teenage 10 years ago
Anonymous No.76382204 [Report]
315 lb bench, 1 rep
225 lb incline bench, 10 reps
135 lb overhead press, 10 reps

I put the weight at 275 lbs for bench if I want a higher rep range like 8.
