I stopped benching for years and replaced it with OHP and dips. It made my OHP a lot stronger, but I returned to benching like 2 years ago because it felt like I lost more than I gained by dropping it.

Funny thing is that what causes shoulder pain on bench is the same thing that causes shoulder pain on dips.
