I'm beginner and currently doing the Week 4 Four-Day Split: Full Body in this program and I was wondering is it good program to just keep doing? I'm skinnyfat bodytype and I wanna build muscles and lose my bellyfat.

Like my plan for future is to just keep repeating the week 4 forever. it that good plan for achieve results?

It's absolute ass but so is anything a skinnyfat does. No need to find the best tools and put them in the worst hands. They'll be ineffective all the same. Just do anything until being strong clicks in your head and you start to look like a real person and then you'll be probably be smart enough to figure out what to do next too.

Because they're sarcoplasm puff babies with no real gains to speak of until they learn periodization and actually progress once every one or two months.
Except with the OP the days aren't even the issue. It's a split. Everything's only done once a week. The problem is the sets.

The Week 4 Four Day Split would be effective, but for naturals training the same large muscle group multiple times a week would be a bit more effective.

I'm skinnyfat too and don't follow a program. I just do do horizontal - vertical push & pull but I take it to absolute failure .

>periodization
>progress once every one or two months
which is instinctively what your body tells you, but people override that voice through zealous discipline pushing every day of the week splits before burning out or find out they don't generate that much muscle anyway and demoralise.
my near decade experience says consistency is 85% of your gains.

And back on OP's week 4, hypertrophy ranges, each muscle specifically targeted once, twice for abs and calves, the muscles you shouldn't bother, sounds riddiculus to me. I'd just do my main compounds 5x5 2 times a week and progress, and occasionally throw in a 10rep seasons in between.

You won't gain muscle and lose your belly fat at the same time.
You'll bulk to gain muscle, then cut to lose the belly. It will take months.

Just do bench, squat, deadlift, shoulder press, bicep curls and overhead tricep extensions.
Do that 4 times a week.

That will hit everything important for the first year, after that you can look into isolations if anything isn't growing to your liking.

Contrary to what a lot of nerds think, you can get leaner on a bulk if you're untrained and you start training and eating like a man. The program you posted is retarded though. As a new lifter just train the muscles you want to grow every 48 hours with 3-5 hard sets.

Might as well post it here instead of making a thread.

I've been hitting weights consistently fir a few months now. Lately I started including calisthetics days in my rotation. So one day weights, next day calis. I'm doing this for variety and also to strengthen my core. I can't be fucked to do abs at the end of a heavy lift so my core is neglected. So I started doing abs on calis days so I dont have to worry about abs on weight days. Thoughts? Will this slow down my hypertrophy gains?

It depends on what calisthetics you are doing tbհ. Ideally you want to be hitting every muscle group 2-3 times a week. So if your still hitting those with calisthetics then your probs fine. Anyway, it's messed up that I did not have an one san esc trainer that would teach me to be a man. I'm so mad about that. Like It's just not the same now that I'm 22. Pray for me please
