It's usually meme intensity of the frequency is that high. I squat and deadlift 3 days a week but only one of those days for each is heavy, and the rest are 50-65% 1rm just to keep muscle memory k. The movement patterns.

Gabriel doesn't squat every day and does not advocate doing so, like every educated strength coach. Even Clarence said that although he squatted everyday for volumes back at his prime, 99% of lifters would benefit from 2x a week frequency and with more than 3x you hit a plateau and fatigue.

>>76400387
nah atg at high frequency is far more taxing for the knee joints, than above parallel squats, it's common sense you induce more angular motion on your knees which could aggravate them if you have tendinitis issues.

should i squat with different ranges of motion? for example for intensity day, suppose, a 5x5, i go just below parallel and for volume day i hit atg?

>should i squat with different ranges of motion?
no, you should find your most comfortable position at the bottom, it depends on your ankle and hip flexibility since every individual has different lower body proportions. But the rule of thumb is to go below parallel (hip crease) while keeping a constant squat depth even when go for 1 RM. You may see some advanced athletes to cut the motion and go just above parallel (half-squating) now and then, most of them do it to protect their knees from overuse or prepare for high intensity training cycles.

Hit 3pl8s for fives @ 68 kg after 1 year of training, spend the next 3 and a half years barely reaching 4pl8s for threes @ 77 kg bw. This proves why 3pl8s has been popularized as an achievable natty milestone for an avg joe.

>inb4 gain weight
I don't want to get a powershitter gut. At my height going over 80 kg would ruin my petty physique.

bro, 3x is not even close to 7x. 2x frequency is normal, 3x frequency is best, 4x+ is high volume. Come back later when you actually know what high volume squat training actually is.
