Less and less younger generations were working out. Now the past 4-5 years people have also polarized fitness, so you'll see either fat fucking goyslop loving obese retards or healthy people who work out. It's usually fairly easy to see if someone is eating right and even more so actively trains.
Plus all the immigration I'm sure they're working out in their Islamic societies

Muscle Beach Gym is in Venice Beach, which is overrun with drug addicts. During the day it used to be interesting to walk down the boardwalk and look at the freaks, but now that's not worth it. When you go back to your car, it'll be broken into - and that's if you don't get mugged while you're there.

They went to California because there was:

Now that everything is online and the chance of being in a serious Hollywood thing is practically zero, and Los Angeles is even worse than it ever was, they tend to be a bit more spread out

That's always been the case, unless you have a family member on "the inside" already. Sure you can eek out a living working day jobs that you lose periodically because you scored a commercial or extra work.
But the truth is people on the inside don't send the elevator back down very much. They save the slots on the inside for the people close to them, like family members and close friends.
Day 1 of Acting Class should always be one question: "Do you have a family member or close friend already on the inside? If the answer is no, then full disclosure you're wasting your time."

Filming in LA is down 25% in just a year. You can imagine it's been a similar pattern for years.
