>You cant outrun a bad diet bro

This is bullshit, yes you can

Eat the same thing every day (keep calories constant) and then add an hour of running on top of it and you'll lose weight

Are normies retarded?
Anonymous No.76403472 >>76403484
Its just a saying for normies (read: fat brained people). Sadly the whole 'i jogged ten minutes today, i deserve a big mac' is far too common of a mentality, so the phrase is an easier way to understand cico for the average joe than ensuring their calories constant and topping with exercise (since you know for a fact they will drink a whole liter of 'energy drinks' afterwards)

An hour of running will burn less than a sandwich worth of calories. You can just not eat a sandwich instead of murdering your knees.

I'm always amazed at how much weight people who hike all day can lose even though they eat a ton.

>humans are evolved to run
Species that evolved to run have hooves or shallow flexible bones. Your feet are nothing like gazelle or cheetahs. Humans evolved to be upright to support the brain but we descent from climbers, our feet are sensitive and have grippy toes. Humans are spectacularly shit runners, a tiny fucking dog will outrun you any day. If you try to with bare feet on a natural ground you'd get your shit cut and bruised instantly.

most humans haven't been in the african plains for a hundred thousand years, just because we were good at something once doesn't mean we're always going to be good at it

that only works if your daily caloric surplus was less than 600kcal when sedentary and if you actually have the discipline to run an hour every day, both things extremely unlikely when you're talking about a fat retard who needs advice on how to lose weight.
"can't outrun a bad diet" is just rule of thumb, eating at maintenance and doing daily cardio is 100% a good way to lose weight if you can keep it up
>>76403489
yeah idk how the people who do thru-hikes and shit manage to eat enough considering that they have to carry days worth of food in their backpacks while hiking dozens of miles every day

dieting without workout is pure bullshit.
I always worked out and eat shit and was in good shape. Few years ago I had accident and got my back broke so I had to refrain from training and I went with "just eat one sandwich less". And I look like skinny fat faggot with corporate belly now even though I count calories.
Without workout your diets are pure bullshit.

An hour of running will be around 600 kcal, maybe up to 1k depending on starting weight and intensity. The average fatass is in a surplus way higher than that and won't run for an hour everyday consistently.

maybe initially, but we have the sweat ability while dogs rely on the pant ability
here are some meme videos that talk about it

This is true. Leaning on diet cut only murders your body, gains, hormones, health and youe brain is basically foggy all over. And then your body tries to cope by throttling the metabolism down. Its garbage, working out the calories is better by far. But the average dont have the discipline to do their cuts by work. People usually give up less than a week.

Because length of exercise matters a lot more than intensity for weight loss.
When you move, your body is in exercise mode and it's constantly requesting energy to be put into the bloodstream so it can be used.
When you sit down, that stops and you begin storing energy.
So a one hour run is not nearly good for you as a four hour hike.
It's just thermodynamics.
Humans were built for endurance and our entire physiology is built around it.

If I don’t run I get fat, that’s all I know. According to the tdee calculator my maintenance is anywhere between 2600 and 2900 lol. So who the fuck knows how accurate that is.

Maybe if you're fucking slow. I run a little over 7miles in an hour and burn roughly 1100-1200Cal during the run.

except if you keep calories the same you have to increase how much you burn over time
do you see a problem here?

I'm dirty recomping right now i keep hovering 5 pounds above and below 150. I can run fast forever my only limitation is the sweat making my phone and earbuds too mucked. But I feel so powerful. A car at a stop sign revved his engine and we had a little drag race me sprinting against them that felt cool as hell
