What is the time limit on the push ups? Are they old school or hand release?

Probably 2 minutes. Tbf though, these are the entry requirements, not the final fitness test.

Here's two retards who never enlisted.

FWIW the army semi-recently changed their standards to include weightlifting.

Good find though. Historical PT tests are interesting too.

Why do the women have different standards? Their calisthenics exercises are already easier because they are moving less weight. Why do they also not have to do as many reps? It's bs.

I use the pararescue test as a guideline for basic fitness. I aim for a passing score once a year on top of regular lifting.

I like all the different standards you have. I have seen the basic Army ones and the Rangers but not the others. I have not trained for any of these. I would not score well on any of these due to being very bad at jogging. I am okay at sprinting.

Holy shit standards have gone down since the early GWOT days. An 18 yo male only has to do a 140 max DL, 10 pushups, and a 22min 2 mile (which can be done speedwalking lol).

I find it rather ridiculous that some tests use pullups and others don't. Frankly the only reason I can think of for not including pullups is not to """discriminate""" against wamen.

What's the point of giving points you're not going to count?
