Hyperhidrosis
Okay so what the fuck actually causes this and how do I fix it? I can't fucking do pullups because my hands are so wet (and have been since childhood).
Is it processed foods? Sugars? Gluten? Artificial sweeteners? Flour? Microplastics? Some say they can fix it by supplementing potassium wtf is this shit??
Anonymous No.76411101
There's really not a lot of things you can do. I thought that losing weight would improve it but nope, it doesn't. Same with quitting smoking, caffeine and processed food. Nothing helps. Just accept you are sweating a lot.

I remember a long time ago using some kind of liquid anti-perspirant like aluminum based shit, I covered my hands and wrapped them in saran wrap and put socks over
that fixed it like over 20 years ago
who knows what else it did though, just inserting heavy metals into my bloodstream
probably just use chalk instead or work manual labor and get your hands used more

I'm not going to just accept that people in the middle ages just had a fountain flowing out of their hands and feet.
You'd die of dehydration in a desert.

I also have this. I reckon its due to aplinnide genetics. I am also very pale. I heard about a small procedure where they clamp a nerve and this reduced sweating in certain areas. Some high end beauty clinics may offer this

Get a pull up bar with those fluffy foam grips or use chalk. My hands sweat like crazy but it's no problem when bouldering because I'm all chalked up.

historically basically nobody lived in the desert, hell basically nobody lives in deserts today (compared to every other biome outside of tundra)
outside of the bedouins, tuaregs, and some smaller groups in the kalahari and southwest us basically no ethnic groups are really "home" to the desert
the overwhelming majority of people were either in somewhere coastal, somewhere near a river, or even if they're inland away from both they're usually in something like a forest or steppe which is still not really all that close hydration-wise to a desert

I mean there's lots of problems nowadays that are not genetic and if they did exist historically they were very rare.
For example teeth crowding was simply not an issue for the majority of people before processed slop food.
I was wondering if there might be a similar cause for hyperhidrosis. While you can't really fix your jaw anymore as an adult but maybe you could fix sweating idk.

SIBO caused this twice for me
I recommend trying an antibiotic like erythromycin, azithroymcin or minocycline for 10-14 days.

A lot of evidence that low magnesium causes it.
I've tried supplementation and had positive influence from magnesium supplementation.

problem is once you are magnesium deficient you're basically magnesium deficient for life.
the body is constantly pulling magnesium from your bones and once you supplement magnesium barely any goes back into the bones (body has to piss most of it out because of homeostasis).
So basically you have to constantly supplement some form of magnesium rich food all day long for years.
If you take vitamin D supplements, it makes it even harder to get magnesium levels back up.

protip, magnesium is the leading deficiency in all diets now.
plants barely need it and so they rarely supplement it in fertilizers for plant growth.
animals are now starting to become deficient in it.

oh forgot to add
google relation between magnesium and temperature regulation, basically your body thinks it is hotter than it is hints the sweat response.

takes about thirty days of religious supplementation to show any benefit if you take a shit supplementation dosage daily.
10-15 days if you eat high magnesium meals regularly.
if you stop prematurely it will come back very quickly.

give it a try, if nothing works after 4-6 months.
go to the doctor and get the bathwash electro kits.

I'm not shilling that website specifically, i'm just giving an example of the device.

The device itself runs electricity with a mineral mixture that binds itself into the sweat glands within the overactive portion of the body.
After like 2-4 weeks eventually the sweat stops being as serious and you can not witch to only bi monthly or monthly treatment to keep symptoms at bay.
Study it yourself man, if you have hyperhidrosis and you're not taking this seriously you're missing out.
Because all the other medications have serious side effects, magnesium works "okay" at best, and the only other option is surgery to remove the sweat glands which you think having sweaty hands if bad. Wait until your hands have no moisture at all.
the cracking skin pain people feel is horrifying as your palms start to split open from chronic dehydration of the skin.
you have to carry around moisturizer all day long like an old woman.

I suddenly developed hyperhidrosis in my late twenties, but it mostly occurs on my head and underarms. A good electrolyte balance helps, or when I actively try to keep my heart rate low. It also helps to splash cold water on my face from time to time or put an ice pack on my neck for a moment, and generally wear loose clothing that allows the body to breathe, tight polyester clothing is the worst. For the most part it just feels like really poor temperature regulation but the sweating is very excessive.

Glycopyrrolate
Anonymous No.76417157
i have it and ahve tried everything. iontopherosis machines work. i bought one for 400 dollars, and did it every day (20 min) for two weeks. (or until you get dry). The negatives is that you are totally completely dry all the time, with skin flaking off the palms. But it is worth it in my opinion. when you stop, it lasts maybe 3-5 weeks before you need to do it againm, but after about 2 weeks you can maintain with once a week ish

What to do about cold neck while still sweating like a mf.

I will try the magnesium thing though. Don't know about other electrolytes (eat plenty of salt, don't feel anything when supplementing potassium).

Yea Teeth crowding wasn't a big deal - because everyone lost a shit ton of teeth. It's good that your teeth crowd in if you're in the middle ages and have lost 6-7 teeth by 26. Evolution accounted for humans in their fucked up natural state, not hyper healthy and living to 100. Processed food does not cause teeth overcrowding, you'd have to be retarded to think that. The truth is 0.2% of modern ailments are caused by modernity, 99.8% are caused by sheer genetics, your choice to not be mobile, and the fact that you're alive past your reproductive prime.

Anything you'd notice after 35 doesn't matter to evolution as you should already be fucking dead.

The truth is people have nothing to blame but themselves. No one will ever accept this as an answer so people like you exist.

ETS surgery works but, sadly, almost all that get it report compensatory sweating elsewhere on their body which is as much, or worse, than the original problem.

Caffeine is what caused it for me. About 5 weeks ago I cut out caffeine (no coffee, tea or pop at all) and my hands are bone dry most of the time now. My feet are much drier as well.

Drinking a cold glass of water does mostly the same as a coffee for waking up if you need something in the morning.
