There's no psyop. The vast majority of people do not give a fuck about their legs.

You can get away with a minimalist leg routine of 12-15 total sets per week just fine. Leg days are autistic as fuck if you aren't competing and for many people actively make their physique worse due to fucked up proportions.

SS has people do 9 sets a week of quads and 10-11 sets of adductors a week and it is notorious for making peoples' thighs way too big.
