Not sure if OP is trying to be le funny but obviously it's the steroids.

Hulk really represented a heavy roider doing well, most die a lot sooner and a lot before 50, but people could always point to select examples like Hulk Hogan and say look at that guy and all the roids he did. 71 years old. If you think about people you know, people on tv, POTUS, life doesn't have to end at 65/70, but if you roid, that's the best you can hope for.

Also, the man was a ridiculous liar. I don't know how people can take someone seriously if they lie straight to their face.
