How the fuck does anyone eat more than 1.2grams/kg a day?
Jesus, even that was a horrible forceful experience

you fuckers are lying if you're saying that you eat 1.8 to 2.2 grams per kg of bodyweight a day
Anonymous No.76419059 [Report] >>76419072
do you weigh 400lbs or something?

200lbs (I lift more than you)
and I had trouble eating down 150grams of protein today

Nah I just eat a gram per kg and call it a day. The gains keep coming anyways. Sure more is "optimal" or whatever science fags say but if I'm still making gains and I can manage this diet there's no reason to care.

I just eat whatever I feel like. In the ~24 hours after I lift I'm hungry as fuck and get it in easy. If I don't do anything for 3 days I won't be very hungry at all so I don't forcefeed myself.

There's some retards who apparently do it without doing the lbs to kg conversion work lmao
I imagine there's a few weirdos who are eating 5000 calories a day to get 220g of protein because 180lbsx1.2 is like 216
Anonymous No.76419082 [Report]

The only time I didn't have an issue with eating a lot of protein is when I ate few servings of beef tartar at local restaurant and I belive that would get boring pretty fast
Anonymous No.76419097 [Report]
>>76419052 (OP)
I find it trivial to eat even up to 400g of protein a day, though normally I only go for like 200. I just eat a bunch of chicken breast. I seriously don't get how people act like this is some big task.

It's unironically harder for me to get all my carbs in. I find carbs extremely satiating
Anonymous No.76419171 [Report]
>>76419052 (OP)
I don't know how people do it either. I have to triple scoop.
Anonymous No.76419184 [Report] >>76419257
Eggs, egg whites, protein bread although that might not even count, whey, milk, cheese, at least 10 oz of chicken. I routinely hit 150 grams eating this I weigh 175-180
Anonymous No.76419240 [Report]
>>76419052 (OP)
It's pretty easy to hit 170g/day w/o powders.
Use Chicken breast, Tuna or deenz in water, Mahi or other white fish, Non fat greek yogurt, egg whites, fat free or skim milk. Add back fat as needed.
Powders make it easier (ESPECIALLY CASEIN, GOATed in a cut) and less of a chore.
If you love fat, bulking is going to suck. Fat with an assload of protein and satiating carbs will just languish in your stomach unless you take glutamine before hand the big meal and Digest-All and TUDCA after.
Anonymous No.76419241 [Report] >>76420672
>>76419052 (OP)
Meat, eggs and dairy makes it trivial
I can hit 200g without whey or protein bars pretty easily
If you are trying to be mostly vegetarian or vegan, you are gonna have a bad time
Anonymous No.76419257 [Report]

Also the cheapest whey is muscletech, 19.99 for 20 grams a serving

I weigh 70kg.
I find it difficult to eat a lot, but I drink a fucking ton of milk. I drink easily 1.5L/day. That's 960 calories and 51 grams of protein per day. One decent cut of meat brings it to about 80g, and then I just need to make up the last 20g with whatever else I eat during the day.

So mostly my protein comes from milk and the meat component of one meal.

if you base one of your meals on a 500g package of quarks (which contains 60g of protons and only 20g of carbon) it's fairly easy to get to 1.2 g/kg.
I weigh 88kg/194lbs by the way.

I swapped from cottage cheese and eggs to well prepared meat with sauces and its infinitely easier to get protein in if you actually enjoy what you are eating
Anonymous No.76420818 [Report] >>76420862
What? 1.2 is extremely easy. Even I as a vegan get well past that.

Breakfast:
40 g of tofu
75 g of bread
20 g of oats
1/2 scoop of protein
30 g of nuts

Mid-morning:
40 g tofu sandwich with 75 g of bread

Mid-day:
320 g legumes + cereals + vegetables

Mid-afternoon:
Same as breakfast

Supper:
Same as mid-day

Unplanned extra protein:
Yogurt
Bread with spread
Bakery and sweets

Total protein: 120 g

You have to prepare the food properly so it is enjoyable and not a chore.

8oz of chicken and 3oz of pulled pork gets you 94grams of protein.
That's enough for a 200lb person, if all that weight was lean body mass.

I just make a smoothie where I include my tofu (and mask it's taste) as it is one of the best vegan protein sources.

Dude you literally cook and down 400g of chicken breast and you're done for the day, how hard is that?
Some of you are not meant to make it
Anonymous No.76422645 [Report]
You need at most 1g/lb, most measured people top out at around 0.8g as useful

If you don’t get enough carbs you end up going the GNG route and fucking up your nitrogen balance anyway pissing it all away (literally)

150g of protein a day is a safe number as a natty

I wouldn't be able to eat that much, but drinking that much is pretty easy. Protein shakes and mass gainer shakes. I weigh 145 and am at 171g protein right now from a plate of chicken and rice, mass gainer shake, and protein shake. I also had a glass of milk.

This is now a meal plan thread, post what you eat everyday

Breakfast: 400g Skyr (~40g protein)
Second breakfast: 3 or 4 eggs (20-30g protein)
Lunch: idk, chicken? (30-90g protein)
Dessert: protein bar or shake (~30g protein)
Dinner: idk, chicken? (30-90g protein)

Eat some potatoes and some leafy greens with your "idk, chicken?" and ur done

>>76424207
buy whole chicken, should be like 10 bucks max and last you 2 days, not sure if it gets any cheaper
Anonymous No.76425101 [Report]
I just eat a pound and a half of meat a day with cheese, two scoopes of whey, and 4 tablespoons of ground chia seeds.
I'm 200 pounds so it gets me the 200g I need.

lunch
300g fried chicken breast
300 grams of rice with peas (too much desu)
snack
250 grams skyr
50 grams of almonds
half a teaspoon of honey
dinner
150 grams cottage cheese
150 grams canned tuna with mexican salad

~1800 calories, ~170 grams of protein
and i'm in a fucking cut. what's the fucking problem?

Where do you live where 400g of chicken is expensive?
Here I buy 1kg package for 6 euros, thats 300g of protein, at 50g of protein per euro.

If you weigh 80kg, that's literally 2 euros a day to hit your impossible 1.2g /kg of protein.

>How the fuck does anyone eat more than 1.2grams/kg a day?
not that hard
just gotta eat protein rich foods only for calories

here's what I typically eat in a day
>200g Tempeh -> 36g protein, 280kcal
>450g Tofu -> 70g protein, 650kcal
>200g Seitan -> 43g protein, 270kcal
sometimes TVP instead of Tofu or beans instead of Tempeh
I make my own Tempeh, Tofu and Seitan btw

otherwise my meals consist out of mushrooms (maybe another ~20g protein / day), veggies and sometimes potatoes
with one protein shake, that's ~200-220g protein / day
but need to reduce by 10-20% because bioavailability

I eat tempeh as well. Underrated for gains. A complete protein, high in fiber, trace amounts of sat. fat. I know sat. fat can be helpful for some hormones. My point is that sat. fat is dense in calories. Tempeh is useful when trying to get in protein and fiber at the same time. One thing it has on animal proteins.
>inb4 vegan faggot
I eat primarily animal proteins. Tempeh is a tool in my tool box.
