A few weeks ago i started doing pullups at work whenever i found time, just a handful over the day, and then more in the gym. I also put more focus on doing dips. The progress i feel is enormous, never in my life have i ever felt the difference/growth in strength in such a short time. I still can't manage a full 20 dips in one set, 16 seems to be the maximum with three sets, same with 5 full pullups, but the progress feels amazing.

I think i found the champion's league exercises, and they don't even require weights. Why did nobody on here ever tell me about this? I've been on here for almost a year now

Dips are kinda gay. Try chinups btw, they're basically just straight up better than pullups.

I actually do both, chinups at work, because the steelbeam where me and a colleague are doing them doesn't allow anything else, and pullups at the gym. i think it's a good mix

every compound like dips, pullups, squats, bench and DL are the only exercises that matter
if you are stuck just take a weight and do them weighted, start with the weight in a 6-12 rep range, for pullups make sure you are doing them correctly both the arched back and hollow body version, shred some fat so they get easier

maybe with bodyweight it doesn't make a lot of difference but this if done weighted this is ilke the mixed grip deadlift, road straight to torn biceps, pronated grip is the optimal form

The difference is that a mixed grip deadlift is moving at minimum twice as much weight as your max weighted chin up. You're also using the bicep completely different than a mixed grip. I'd honestly say they are not even close to being comparable

I have spent like 15 or 16 years on 4chan, but at some point during that time, there was a cultural shift, owing to anons getting older and growing up. Most of us have realized that being an "oldfag" isn't as cool as it was considered to be in 2014, it's actually quite pathetic. good job, gym is not the only way to get fit.
at some point you will need to get into a better routine of kill muscles>rest but until then enjoy your gains you can progress like that for quite a while
