are benchpressed bad for your upper back?

i get pain in between my shoulders and I cant remember having this pain before starting bench pressing
so I suspect a connection but bench pressing usually makes the pain go away for a little bit and I don't really know how it could cause backpain anyways

Don't push your shoulder blades together (pinch), this is a horrible cue that only causes pain. Push them down or neutral if you want to bench stronger and pain free.

bench is the only exercise where i have hurt my back.. twice
look up proper form
