I can eat sugar based carbs and I get leaner

If I eat non-sugar based carbs I get noticeably bloated and fatter

I can eat as much sugar sweets as I want and I’ll wake up leaner and vascular… but if I eat pasta / rice I’ll wake up bloated and watery

Sugar is medicine. You don't take pounds of antibiotics at a time. You don't drink gallons of chemotherapy if you have cancer. You can use sugar to fuel mass expenditure of energy, i.e. running a long race or riding a bicycle for distance, but it is inappropriate for sedentary people.

The sugar vs fats debate is retarded. They are both easy-to-consume energy sources that are eaten in excess on the Standard American Diet. Eliminating either one reduces the hyperpalatability of modern goyslop.
I am probably in the bottom 10-20% of the population for sugar intake, but that doesn’t mean it’s poison. CICO always applies. I usually place my sugars (mostly fruit) before/during exercise.

Ketosis only occurs when gluconeogenesis is unable to provide sufficient glucose for the brain. In fact ketosis will occur for other tissues before the brain since the brain runs more efficiently on glucose and is the first priority.

It's been the other way around for me, when I was doing a diet with even a lil bit of sugar in it I'd be craving sweets all day, same for high carb. This is the lowest weight I've been in years and I haven't binge eaten in a full month now

The brain never runs exclusively on ketones, ever.
Even after weeks of fasting which puts you in complete ketosis the brain runs on like 40% glucose, the ketones are there as a last resort to avoid organ failure by lowering glucose requirements and consumption rates but it never gets rid of the glucose demand. All life needs glucose.
GNC is not done by the brain but by your liver and your CNS detects blood sugar fluctuations and signs of stress and reacts accordingly.

The baked shit also has tons of fat, and most of the calories in there come from fat. Most of the store sweets are 50/50 fat/sugar. I'm losing fat on high carb + added sugar, with only fat coming from a serving of fatty fish. High carb is goat for working out and weightloss.
