'Frugivores' are all opportunistic predators and will eat meat if it becomes available.
It's true we are not that well adapted to eat raw meat, like carnivores but fire changes the equation significantly, making meat and animal products more easily digestible by us. We've controlled fire for long enough (1-1.5My) that it has affected our physiology and digestion.
Fire and the increase in digestibility of foods, but especially meat, was a key element in the gradual increase of brain sizes over hundreds of thousands of years.
Humans are far more well-adapted to eating meat than the image suggests.
