If someone ran 1 hour everyday, did pushups, situps, and squats everyday (3 sets, 15 reps) for 3 months, yet still remained fat, what the fuck are they doing wrong?

You can't outexercise or outcardio a bad diet, trust me it's 10x easier to eat less, I tried to outlift/cardio a bad diet and at one point I was doing 2 hours of stair master everyday burning close to 1k cal on top of lifting heavy for 6x a week, it didn't work because I'd get home and not care much about what I ate.
I only do cardio for 30mins now with lifting 6x week but I'm meticulously tracking my food and I've been the leanest in 3 years.

You can get lean eating slop as long as you're in a deficit but you'll feel like crap because slop has poor nutritional value.
I consider good food shit that isn't high processed and that I cook myself at home, when you buy delivery slop you have no idea of the procedures used in said food, like oil etc.
I got lean by just eating the same shit everyday, chicken breasts, eggs, oats with fruits, skim milk, rice, veggies and occasionally red meat/fish.

Avoid seed oils (use coconut + ghee) and do 7 hrs IF. Don't eat breakfast until you're full. Post body.

Running for 1 hour burns off about one big cup of coke.
Those other listed excercises do almost nothing in terms of weight loss.

You lose weight in the kitchen not at the gym.

human bodies are too efficient to only exercise to lose weight, you have to eat less primarily and then supplement with cardio if you want to increase the deficit further.
