I can currently do 3 sets of 15 pull-ups with good form. Should I up it to 17-20, or try to start doing weighted pull-ups? If weighted how do I add weight if all I’ve got is a pull up bar and some dumbbells in my home gym? Do I have to buy one of those vests or something?

Rule of thumb, never go past 20 reps on any calisthenics movement. Best to progress once you can do 12+ reps.

just do what you'd do if you were starting any exercise for the first time. pick a rep range, first day keep adding 5 pounds until you can't complete the set, next time start with whatever amount you got up to do 3 sets with that weight at that rep range if you can finish all 3 add 5 pounds next work out day. shrimple as

add weight. no point going past 15 unless uve some speciic goal. buy/make a belt. for lower weights it should be very easy to find something. if youre not capping with 15 clean reps u should esily be able to do like +20kg 5x5

always do calisthenics slow with good form
get to a max rep range you like then add weight or move to a harder version (like decline pushups) and go back to the original weight
its the exact same rules as normal weight lifting because it is fundamentally doing the same as normal weight lifting to achieve the same goals as normal weight lifting

Idk just worrying about "perfect form" is overrall not important for someone trying to improve, kinda like half repping push ups, not all the way up or down and focusing only on the middle portion where your elbows are around the 90 degree since thats when they are under the most tension

This is what I did once I hit 15 pullups. First I got a dip belt and a 35 lb kettlebell and just started with how many I could do with good form and it was super easy to progress. I just got a weighted vest because I couldn't do pushups with the dip belt.

Outside of things that require a specfic form you can minimize the iverrall movement to only hit the point where you are exerting the most effort. Half rep pushups mean you are constantly under the most tension but you dont get the benefit of growth for the overrall chest and arm as you would for a stricter form, not to be confused with kipping on oullups since it uses the bodies momentum to do more reps instead of the bodies strength itself

You only cheat yourself by not doing the exercise or by taking steps to reduce the effort put in for a single rep or the purpose of making the rep count larger simply for a bigger number, ultimately the effort put in correlates with overral growth
