Be more specific. How much above? 1g? 10kg?

Lets use our critical thinking caps for a moment!
When you take a substance with "active ingredients" they'll usually come with something called an "LD50," the dosage of that thing at which 50% of people taking it can be expected to die. It's a good safety threshold to compare against, and is listed in "mg/kg" or "g/kg" referring to mg or g of the compound of interest, and kg of bodyweight.
What you're going to need to do is:
>check the "active ingredients" list on your preworkout
>look up the LD50 for all of them
>check the concentration of them all per serving
>calculate the mg/kg dosage you will receive from this serving using your own bodyweight
>do the same for the amount of "extra" you want to take
>compare these to the LD50
As an example, lets say there was 200mg of caffeine per serving of preworkout, and you weigh 75kg - that's a dose of 200mg/75kg or 2.66 mg/kg caffeine. The LD50 for caffeine is usually listed as a range, with a lower value in the ballpark of 150 mg/kg. This means a lethal dose of preworkout would be ~56 servings of preworkout, (150 mg/kg / 2.66 (mg/kg)/serving = 56.39 servings). You can do this for every available active ingredient yourself now.

also note, LD50 is almost always tested on mice. How that translates to humans is very variable.
Caffeine will fuck you up way before getting even close to the LD50.

sick fucking gains, a killer pump, and one hell of a workout after which you get addicted to preworkout and going to the gym because nothing else during your day unless youre snorting coke outta hookers assholes (face it, youre on here frog posting, you arent doing this) will match the dopamine and endorphins from high caffeine and lifting weights
