Why did everyone suddenly do a 180 on chiropractic?
Had it done on me a few years ago for some neck stiffness and it pretty much fixed it. FF to around this spring I'm seeing people on the internet shitting on it. Is it either:

>A. People getting it over spring/summer break and are being butthurt over some post adjustment pain?

or

>B. Doctors manufacturing hate to they can push sales of Physical Therapy to patients?

>be pseudoscience injury peddler
>peddle injuries and never actually fix problems
>people are mad I never fix problems and frequently injure people
>get mogged by an actual massage 10 out of 10 times
It's not rocket surgery

The problem with chiropractors is that the efficacy of the chiropractor comes down to finding one who isn’t a charlatan. I was firmly anti chiropractor until I was having crippling back spasms and had to give something a try.

Luckily I found one who did a quick exam and said he wasn’t going to touch me until I got an MRI and he did some X-rays in house. He found my lumbar herniations with the MRI when doctors had been passing me off to other doctors for YEARS without any effective treatment. He also identified a slight scoliosis.

He does the adjustments and electro stimulation for acute pain and spasms, and then walks you through the physical therapy exercises. He said his goal was to get me to a point where I didn’t have to go back and see him again.

The difference between a good chiro and a quack is whether they use x-rays or not.
