If you didn't realize until now it means it's a mild one, so just lift, become a dips specialist and it will fill up with chest meat

Whatever, just get a sick chest and avoid the 3/4 angles without doing the angle fraud pause.
For reference this is how mine looks if I try to present it decently well, I won't lie, I really hate the fact that I have to put so much effort just to not look misshappen but that's the game.

Learned this trick from Looney Tunes. Put your thumb in your mouth and blow as hard as possible till the dent pops out

Gf thought it was funny and called it my chest dent and would poor beer into it. Sometimes it hurts if I pose like a stretching cat. Not worth surgery imo

I have fairly noticeable PE and I've basically never cared throughout my entire life. Granted, mine is symmetrical so it's not as freakish as it could be. The worst part isn't the chest gap, it is my ribs protruding forwards, giving me a potbelly. Lifting helps though. Look up Steve Reeves. He (probably) had PE and looked aesthetic as fuck.

you can force it out with breathing exercises but it takes literal years to get smaller

Alright I took a pic, it looks worse with the chest hair because the line sinks in like a black hole lol

Mine is like this too. It got better after i started focusing on chest, using a suction bell, and a rib cage flair brace.

I used to be super insecure about my pectus when I was a teenager but I’m not at all anymore. You just gotta build muscle. Mine is still noticeable but honestly I think it looks cool now. As long as it’s fairly symmetrical and not insanely deep, then you’re fine. And if it’s super fucked up, you could just go for the surgery.

Got a massive one. Who cares? Only yourself really. Just lift.

I have similar. Did not bother me or others at all. Protip: until it"s not sculped, keep the hair on. Distracts the attention

I do not care about the hole in the chest. I hate my protruded ribs.

Literally seeing a doctor about it in two weeks. I’ve had it my whole life, never really gave it much thought, but then I started reading about it and realized I have NEVER had it properly worked up. Like I don’t know how my heart is being squished, my haller index, etc. I’m not as sever as picrel, but like not as mild as a lot of people I see complaining.
I’m 26 and married, so I’ve made peace with how I look aesthetically, and the nuss procedure would have been something I would go for at like 15-16, but I’m too old to do it unless a cardiologist tells me I ought to.

No one cares about PE. Don't even go to the doctors if it's mild because they'll just shill a highly invasive, very painful surgery. People say they have terrible pain for months after.
Unless you've have heart issues, just leave it be.

I see people say that the dent is not really an issue by itself, and that some are take issue with rib flaring.
What about the imbalances it may cause in chest development though? My right and left pectoral muscles are shaped differently because of it I'm pretty sure, despite being equally strong. It's like one side got better on the clavicular and medial head while the other side got more developped in the sternal part.

there multiple types of PE, some of them can be asymetrical

I have a mild version of this but my sternum is also crooked. just lift & get your pecs big. My gf says she likes to rest her head there.
