I'm trying hard, I swear I am, but I have a bad problem of backsliding and it's ruined all my progress
I'd go well for a few weeks, eating clean, no junk food, regular exercise, then something might happen at work or I just get exhausted and backslide back into alcohol and junk food
How the fuck can I keep myself consistent? I'm so sick of this regression and backsliding, it means I'm a failure

>have bad day
>"I need a little treat. It's so fkin difficult."
>remember that this is why other people are pathetic
>"I am better than everyone; I cant succumb to lame shit like this."
>"My true mettle is shown in times of difficulty."
And then you're so disgusted with the idea of cheating that you physically don't even want it anymore.

It's about trends, not perfection. One bad day does not a bad month make.

start small, not having it either-or situation
say you will do less, not cut it off immediately, just less
one bite less, one snack less, one soda less,

The sugar diet is the only diet I’ve ever been able to stick to. I eat fruit and rice and when I get cravings I crave a steak so when I finally do cave it’s with a sirloin rather than McDonald’s with a McFlurry.
